If this whole thing turns out to be fake, Etika is going to be crucified. Threatening suicide and making a crap ton of people worry about you for days on end just for attention is vile, despicable and abhorrent. However, if this outburst is real, I pray to God that he’s okay and gets the help that he needs. Hopefully he stays in a mental ward for a longer time if he is found safely.In an effort to actually add something useful to this thread, Etika's subreddit is apparently as autistic as we are and have tracked his phone. Not sure how accurate what they used is, but it's something. His phone is the red marker on 23rd street.
It should be noted, as a comment on this reddit post said, that Etika could've intentionally left his phone somewhere knowing authorities and family/friends would do this.
I'm still on the fence about whether I believe this is real or not. Etika is an oddball sperg, that's for sure, and he's made a name for himself screaming at shit like Smash. But how many of his previous freakouts (outside of gaming) were faked? Obviously he was admitted at one point. I understand the X'ing to doubt but I also don't think people are just "taking the bait" by being concerned.
