I really loved the show. It was beautiful, and more like a moving painting than your normal shounen anime. The music was grandiose and epic, the animation itself is the main selling point, and the story is basic yet well executed.
Very enjoyable show, would recommend.

Author should be commended for having written and illustrated 23 volumes and ending it in four years, and not dragging it out for over a decade just to serve fans a shitty ending they scrounged up once they got tired

This was the only anime (and overall series) I actually like the protagonists off. Beyond that, the stories great and I love the animation. One of the few things I watched in my life I've no grievances about.

Its kind of insane if you think about it, 23 volumes in four years is fucking crazy

probably one in the few series where all the characters were enjoyable. the movie did meet my expectations and more.

The Taisho period yes.
Japan basically went 50 years from feudal society to industrialized power. A lot of the rural area would remain technologically backwards even up to the second world war
I figured, I like the running joke regarding how Inosuke thinks the train is some form of lord

Good standard child-soldier-of-destiny, work-hard-and-you'll-win, power-of-friendship shonen fare.

Imouto-fags should love this show.

I like how the seemingly invincible Muzan is a secret coward who got his ass stomped by Yorichii 400 years before the series and his king of demons gimmick is a massive overcompensation.

Yorichii gave Muzan the Pepsi CM treatment.
