Debate TES regulars about why the site's userbase had a political shift

Let's not pretend that Null is some perfect saintly site admin who has done no wrong. There have been times when he banned people for the crime of being annoying to him, like CallmeCicada or that guy he banned because of an argument about cheese. Or times when he didn't ban people who should have been banned like Android Raptor, who absolutely should have been banned earlier. There's plenty not to like about Null, but I still do appreciate his efforts in keeping the site up and fighting against capital I Internet censorship. I hope he succeeds with what he's doing with USIPS.
If we are talking about interesting/funny bans, @Maskull got banned once for agree rating one of his posts. His perma ban isn't exactly known why or given still. It's speculated he sent a DM and said something to Josh. The official reason is "threatening a protected minority". What minority that is isn't entirely known.
This is my what my guess is though.

I mentioned it before but I was thread banned once for making fun of a movie podcast. :D
