This in itself is a form of entertainment for me. I'm not particularly trying to convince anyone as much as doing it for the exploration of the topic. I think that the issue with this question is that we're discussing archetypes at this point. 2D anime art is generally stylized and exaggerated for the aforementioned Moe factor, it isn't meant to be a realistic portrayal. Sure, there are artists that are capable of drawing very realistic 2D art, but that seems to me to be the exception, not the norm. 3D art, in the case of Diana, is almost not stylized at all and its goal is to be as realistic as possible in appearance, due to it being developed by a faily large company and the current focus of gaming seems to be graphical fidelity.

IIRC Dorontabi wasn't arrested but deleted his social media when it was revealed that he had traced art from real children. He was never a character artist for Blue Archive, this is his only contribution to the game:

They were upset that certain gacha games had caved in to fan pressure and were removing certain symbols (the notorious small penis finger gesture), and decided to retaliate by mass-targeting all the artists who had worked on Blue Archive. They filed police reports and harassed them online for months until they managed to land something on Dorontabi. IIRC he got away with it due to some technicality about the material he used for reference being made at a time when it was considered legal.

Obsession is by definition a "persistent, disturbing preoccupation with an often unreasonable idea or feeling". Even Anime itself is considered fairly niche despite its surge in popularity after Covid, because if you start talking about anything other than the mainstream series you'll get the stink eye. Mind you i'm not saying that obsession over anime little girls should be normalized or that something like "normal" doesn't exist if anyone's going to interpret it that way, but that playing a fairly popular mobile game shouldn't be grounds accusations of pedophilia. In this case, it doesn't. You can't argue that lolicons aren't the ones sexualizing the character despite it being 3d, since most if not all of the specific lingo is endemic to them, just like in the screenshot I shared.

The same logic for furries applies here. Unless it goes full anthro, what's being sexualized is still the human form. And if it's a loli character, we're not talking high schooler and beyond build with the associated height curves and bust size, then the main draw is still the underdeveloped body. Every community or subculture, or whatever you want to call it, is often going to be characterized by the worst traits in its fans. For things like Magic: The Gathering it's obese rancid nerds, for Call of Duty it's kids with squeaky voices yelling profanities over a mic, for Genshin and BA it's the lolipedos that are very vocal about their proclivities. Especially Blue Archive, from what I've seen. The game carries that reputation for a reason. Even Northern Lion, someone who heavily promoted a different gacha, Uma Musume, was skeeved out by Blue Archive fans and they harrassed him for voicing that opinion despite him not even calling them pedos. Not every MTG player looks like Boogie, not every Blue Archive player is a pedo. But the stereotypes exist because they are in fact prevalent, they weren't conjured out of thin air. And here's the kicker, if what you enjoy has a really bad negative stereotype but you don't feed into it or it doesn't apply to you? Nothing's stopping you from ignoring it, your conscience should be clean. You've earned your reputation because something compelled you to defend the accusations. If all you did was argue for the jailbait teen characters from BA, I could see you as just being the type of tard that spergs out because the thing they like is under attack. I believe I've said before that that was at a time when I thought getting banned was inevitable. That didn't happen so here I am. I don't generally watch vtubers outside of the occasional meme clip that appears on my feed. I would however like to point out that I generally stay in specific threads and don't engage much with the farms outside of them, but this entire ordeal started when I did and was provoked by a guy who was ousted on the first day of creating his account here for wanting the, quote, "option for crazy Mita correction with marriage and impregnation". Like, don't get me wrong, what's happened happened, but I get the feeling that this entire thing has been blown out of proportion for the sake of wanting to dogpile on an easy target.
