Let me get this straight, then: you believe that IQ is representative of a person's formal education.

In that case, you can't believe then that race is a determining factor in IQ, because lower IQ countries are consistently third-world, with poor or non-existent educational systems as result of government instability.

Either intelligence is an inherent thing that only people of certain heritage can have, or it's something that is effected by environment- i.e., access to education and other resources.

A lot of these 3rd world countries have also had issues with famines. A lack of proper nutrition can cause issues with brain development.

You're trying to say I think IQ variation is the result of education variation? No I think it's the other way around.

Intelligence is rather easily quantifiable. Differences between sexes and groups are some of the most researched areas in psychology and intelligence studies. You can argue that the metrics are limited, but that does not mean that they are wrong. It is a very interesting area of study. Entire groups are dumber than others. Africa is dumb. Europe is smarter. Asia is smarter still. Then we have those dirty genius Jews who run the build-a-bear group. Men and women have same average and median IQ, but men have more variance. Men have more Isaac Newtons, but also more Christian Weston Chandlers.

The thing about intelligence is that it appears to be rather fixed. You will never be smarter than you are. You can make yourself dumber through smoking, drinking, syphilis, or watching Pony stories, but you can't get smarter through training or binaural beats. Society-wide intelligence changes over time. The west and east got smarter as their cultures advanced. Better ability to ward off disease and elements led to more smarts. Now the west is possibly dumbening. It was a good ride.

Rulers are dumb. They only measure length. You will never know how hot or cold something is by using a ruler. Rulers stink.

It isn't a case of White knighting insomuch as it's addressing popular fallacies in the discourse on race, IQ and whatever the fuck happened in this thread.

In either case, who cares? The fact honkies and gooks do better on IQ tests isn't going to change your life for a second.
