Now he threatens to remove all vest-related emojis, not buy any new consoles, and not "improve the stream" unless he gets $20 in the remaining 10 minutes. It's crazy how fast he's gotten used to this showering of tips.

Makes sense. It's the audience that's been entitled for too long. Yes.

I stopped following Phil as much after I realised many detractors are at fault that he's making this much money at the moment.
I've lurked in several places where I was told the paypigs give him money because it causes drama with us, which is true. I personally started to believe most detractors are more autistic than Phil's fans. You can throw Phil 5£ which let's be honest is a good coffe at best, and write a message like "Fuck the detractors" and you will cause a shit show with a number of Twitter detractors. In my mind, for entertainment I can go to the cinema and pay 40£ for two tickets and laugh for an hour and a half, or give 5£ to Phil every other day with autistic messages and laugh at people sperging out for weeks. Just in the past two weeks, detractors spread a fake dox of Iced, sperged over a fake selfie, started spreading the stroke story and Mannix just showed how most detractors really are. If you want easy reactions and easy trolling, troll the detractors.

I'm not saying I'm any better, I'm utterly autistic and will waste hours just to dox some random idiot that likes some 38 year old fat exceptional individual. But I think some people just need realise people do reverse troll.

A stroke that causes a droopy face wouldn't be considered that light. He would have several tests done, I'm certain.
Maybe it's different in the US during COVID, can't stress that enough.

Edit: This is an old picture, you can tell from his headset, and he has a droopy mouth aswell.

It’s stuff like this that should make people step back and think “Are we the baddies?”. Guess Phil is right and detractors do enjoy lying about him and taking him out of context for cheap laughs. Makes the real concerning shit like WWE Champions less credible, but fuck that we need NEW things to generate clicks!
I know Mannix is a run-of-the-mill outrage farmer, so I’m not surprised by him latching on to anything “controversial”.

My friend's dad had a stroke a couple years ago, and never even knew about it. It wasn't until he went to breakfast with some friends and they were like "Uh, hey Bruce, your face is looking weird, you OK?" He laughed it off and went on for another few days before his housekeeper found him taking a nap and thought he was dead, called the meat wagon, and they hauled him off to the hospital. He had a minor stroke, and recovered well. Doctors told him it could have been really bad news if he had let it go untreated for much longer. Phil's face has been droopy for years, so it would have to be the slowest moving stroke ever (bugged brain damage mechanics, dood!).

While the thought of Phil having had a stroke is amusing to me, I don't think that he really did. His face is just a fucked up mess of features. Although, if he DID have a stroke, it could help explain how shitty he plays games with his diminished use of his side.
 
Ya know I kinda wonder why Dave hasn't taken advantage of his trolls with demanding money for ongoing medical stuff yet. I know he's hinted at having stuff before, but he's never begged for em yet.

Anyway my point is, eventually he'll probably come on stream saying he finally went to a doctor who told him he's got the beetus after not exercising and eating sugary crap for over a decade. Then he'll say he needs that money for insulin cause his crap medical insurance doesn't cover it or has some ridiculous copay/detuctible. $100 a day insulin goal on top of the vest tip goal.

The only thing I'd say is while yes detractors are stupid as fuck sometimes they're also just looking for laughs and not really doing anything malicious (though you could easily argue that the detractor youtube channels do benefit from over-the-top speculation). Sure they're easier to fuck with, but I'd argue Phil is more deserving (and also pretty easy to fuck with himself).

All of that said I feel your pain on realizing it's mostly trolls who keep DSP afloat, doubly annoying given Phil is at his most comical when he's struggling with money. Having money issues is Phil's ultimate ego check, the moment where he really has to stare long and hard at the fact that he's not some big shot and has squandered all he was given for nothing. Also fuck Mannix.

He's probably gonna go on the same tirade that he went to when he played Fire Emblem (I think?) and said that vtuber waifu culture is juvenile and not something for a Mature Adult with a Business Degree(tm) like him. He'll then go on a jealous tirade like he did with Pewds and Ninja about how he's not Mr. Views and that he prides himself in always showing his true self while vtubers are a bunch of clowns playing a character for cheap views.
It would be funny if he also starts ack acking about vtuber technology being very rudimentary with even the biggest vtubers barely having any motion in even their facial expressions, because Dave is the same way. For most of the streams you just look at a tiny window of a balding Polish potato that looks like he's gonna fall apart any second due to his long unhealthy lifestyle who barely even moves his mouth when he speaks, making him virtually indistinguishable from a vtuber in that respect.
 
Mannix is the epitome of a dude that will do anything to get Youtube views. His "hot takes" often have been reading posts from here verbatim. It's sad that a fair amount of the detractors are just as pathetic as Phil.

Yeah, the big ones like Korone, Pekora and Coco must make so much freaking money it's not even funny. Seeing Phil talk about that is a potential unexplored salt mine.

Even the mid-tier ones, which have about 100-250k subscribers on youtube rake in much more money than Philburt does for his clownshow vest goals, even if you keep in mind that a lot of them are under agencies that get a cut from their vtubers' action. There's also vtubers who are anime husbandos and on the whole they have much less viewers than the waifu vtubers, they still make bank though. The most popular husbando who is barely in the top 50 of all vtubers is Kuzuha from Nijisanji, he's got almost 400k subscribers and on some streams he has to beg his viewers on stream to stop sending superchats for a while because he doesn't have time to acknowledge them all.
 
@Nigel of Ukip I believe that @actually ’s data has shown that troll tips make up a small percentage of DSP’s monthly intake (don’t quote me but it was sub-10% prior to the vest streak).

IOC and other periodic speds who donate to “own da trolls” are a tiny minority who for some reason Phil is able to consistently attract but never retain for too long.

I can’t share the same sentiments you have regarding the Twitter troll community because I stay the fuck away from Twitter in general given that the few times I decided to check detractor feeds like LSP and others, I found them cringy and corny as fuck. Those accounts fucking suck and there’s nothing wrong with calling them out for creating bottom-tier trash content. Same with the DSP subreddit.
