When did DSP start calling himself the "king of retro" and why does he think he deserves that title? I can't remember the last time he played a retro game, and the ones I do remember he spent the whole time complaining.
Didn't you hear? It was a "wholelottapeepul"who told him he was the King of Retro. He is definitely not a friendless human blobfish who tries to pretend to be some hip gamer dood to fill the hollow void inside himself.

Here's the rant that just happened during Nioh 2
ac6tpf_1.mp4

Phil has a point....some Twitch streamers have taken some advice from their chat. But the point ends since those streamers are able to take said advice, utilize it and execute the advice in real time. You see Phil someway somehow can't do that...why? Its because he's incompetent.

Phil with the odd shaped head for some reason lacks the basic understanding of critical thinking, logic and common sense. To watch watch Phil fail again and again, beat his head against the wall till it breaks is rather interesting to watch; like watching a dead carcass get torn to shreds by vultures.

Phil has another point....he can play the game however he wants. Unfortunately that point falls apart since the fact that the way he wants to play is to bulldoze his way through, live out some weird power fantasy and cheese his way through refusing to learn even the most basic game mechanics that could make the game easier.

Tl:dr- Phil usual points are idiotic and its another case of REEEEEEEEEEE....

I don't even care if he does that. If you care how someone plays a video game you're retarded. All the bellyaching about his lightning spam in DS2 and refusal to switch stances in Nioh 1 and letting Yukari get charmed repeatedly in Persona 3 is pointless. It's all just Phil being Phil. You can laugh at him or mock him but if you're getting mad that means that you somehow are expecting something else and if you're doing that then you're not paying attention.

What's really shitty about this aspect of his bizness is not that people help him, it's that he squeezes them for money for the privilege of doing so and then turns around and calls them idiots when their help can't overcome his inept gameplay.

doesn't have time to watch other streamers
but somehow knows all other streamers have tax problems
and all other streamers regularly ask for help with games

A particular streamer (Tomato) who gets ~3000 active views per stream only has one rule in their chat, which is "I will ban you on a whim if you attempt to backseat. Do not tell me how to play the game." So there's that bullshit debunked immediately.

Tomato’s chat is also moving very quickly ao it would be hard to be backseated without sending money. With Phil, you have a good chance of just sending a regular chat and Phil will definitely have a chance to read it.

There are plenty of streamers who hate backseat gaming.

Any reetard can play a game with lots of people who have already played it telling him what to do.

The thing is, I would see no problem if Phil just said "My schtick is that I am bad at games and I just want to have my fans tell me what to do". Would be a weird schtick, sure, but at least he would be honest.

But honesty is not Phil's forte, so he can't just say that. He has to say that "Up until now, everything I've done in the game has been by myself", which is obviously a lie. It is practically impossible that he has found the cheesiest build "by himself".

In the end, it's pride. Which is very weird when you think about it: how can someone that is a loser in all aspects of life be prideful? I've no idea.

I agree with you, and getting angry with Phil is pointless. But I can understand why it happens.

With Phil, there is this level of arrogance that exacerbates people's emotions. Other streamers accept handholding, but they'll be gracious and friendly with the chat, while Phil will take credit if their advice works, and yell at them if a piece of advice doesn't work (which is usually just him not understanding what was said). Some streamers will probably use guides, but Phil will obviously use a guide in secret, brag about his independence (which he previously said wasn't supposed to be a source of pride), and ban any mention that he may have used a guide. Other streamers will ask for help, but I've never seen one put down the controller and refuse to play the game or speak until they are given help. And this is all within the frame of Phil's legacy, in which he used to viciously shit on streamers for accepting help from their stream chats, but now that he is doing it, believes he is above reproach.

It's Phil being Phil that gets people unusually riled up, because he always finds a way to be a contrary hypocrite while he is being dumb and cheesing.

wtf is he doing with his arms
The best part of his bizarre arm tics is that you can see he's still jiggling (presumably vigorously bouncing one or both of his legs), almost the entire time he is holding that pose. Just like his rocking, you'd have to be completely spastic to find any comfort in those tics and poses.

Última edición:
Didn't start the actual gameplay until 12:30 PM? Tough shit, still taking that mandated break at 2 PM, fuckers. Open up your wallets, piggies!
That's the norm now. 10:15-12:30 prestream. 2-2:40 life-saving break. Phil busting his ass for maybe 3 hours per day, like the good lazy union worker Phil desperately wants to portray himself as.

Did he make the vest goal? I assume he did but its getting closer and closer to not being met each stream.

Watching Phil's two brain cells fight over whether he should be happy he can stop wearing the fucking thing or upset he stopped getting money is mildly amusing, at least.

Of course. Some dipshit dropped $43 for his majesty. My only hope is that it'll be charged back.
