Pretty typical. Most people post trying to help, unfortunately they don’t know Phil as WE know him. Age, race, sexually identity, creed, religion or lack of religion, doesn’t matter. D$P doesn’t discriminate. The guy makes fun of someone enjoying RDR2 at their own leisure, says he obviously isn’t a real gamer, and coming to find out the dude is the project lead for Gears Of War.

I will say this until the day it actually happens... Phil’s hubris will be his downfall.

I mean this is his downfall. He wakes up plays video games he sucks at for a living. He knows it. His ego knows it. He is fucking awful at games. He gets thrown quarters to do this too.

And thats his career. No one will ever be impressed. He will never have his father clap him on the shoulder and tell him he is proud of him ever again. Or at least in a way Phil knows he earned. He'll never get the big promotion, and he will never accomplish anything. Just make money.

And when he's done with work. He has nothing to go home to. No hobbies. He's never going to go out to the bar with his friends. He's barely got a house he can look at and call his own.

He doesn't even have a girl to go home to. Even if I'm being generous in saying Kat likes him. Look at how those two sit next to each other. I've had women sit next to me platonically more interested in me than that. Much less my soul mate.

He has a life with no future, no warmth, nothing and no one but his money. Would you want that? I wouldn't wish that on anyone. His hubris has caused his downfall. We're just watching, waiting, and deciding if we want him to even realize this.

The point Phil needs to understand is this guy supported him MONTHLY. He dedicated money to Phil EVERY MONTH, trying to help him out for the bullshit perk of voting games for Phil to ragequit.

He completely and clearly lacks the ability for empathy, seriously. People who cared for him try to give a last advice or an insight of their reasoning, because they still care about Phil. Proof (as if more were needed) that this is about showing her off instead of a legitimate caring relationship. The fact he's going to try and "convince" her means she doesn't want to come back on. Why not leave it there? Why try and make her come back when everyone knows if she does it'll be more of the same or worse? If this was me and any normal person, I think we'd just leave her out of it. Especially if it was a romantic partner, why put someone you supposedly love through something that makes her "depressed"? I think that is 100% pure bullshit, you could run his shitty forums on a $15 a month shared server, no way in hell it require a $85 a month plan. Phil is a moron, but his webmaster would tell him that he is massively overpaying for it.

But whenever they write a long-ass post about Phil's problems, not only he bans you but you also get the anti-trolls/drones to validate his opinions no matter what.

I've never seen a case where telling someone the truth and giving them criticism so they can improve actually has the opposite effect on a person.
