that doesn't mean it's wrong to criticise them for how autistic they behave.

This.

Every time someone says that the kiwifarm users are autistic stalkers needlessly following people who aren't important enough to warrant the attention, my response is "...yes?" Because it's true. None of this is important, it doesn't really matter, and we should absolutely be using our time more productively. We try to make excuses, like the fact that occasionally the light we shine ends up on someone like Nick Bate and they go to jail, but that's not really something to take pride in, it's a side effect and deep down we all know it. We're autistic stalkers (both in that we're autistic people who are stalking, and that we stalk people who are autistic). But it just doesn't matter. Because no one is productive and beneficial all the time, and it's okay to stop and indulge in some good old fashioned feeling-better-than-the-village-idiot.

People try to use "<blank> is worse than <X> so <X> is really okay" argument, and it just doesn't hold up. Phil sucks. The Sons of Kojima suck. Ardnas sucks. Null sucks. WE suck. Everyone signed up here sucks, and we know it. But we try to suck less, and the first step in that process is identifying the things that suck the most and not doing that.

Loudly highlighting someone else's flaws doesn't fix your own, and it could turn out that every single one of DSP's detractors are institutionalized mentally ill pedophiles, but it wouldn't change the fact that DSP sucks at video games (and everything else he does) and it's fun to point and laugh at him.

Anonymously watching him on twitch is way less of a hassle than watching his normal streams, and you get to insult him without an immediate ban. I didn't actually see Phil live until he got shit-canned, so I would n't be shocked if he has a temporary bump in numbers. I'd be willing to bet more people are there to watch him fail than because they like him though. Even if that results in a temporary bump, if the majority of your user base are hoping to see you end up homeless, your prospects are pretty bleak.

How does revenue work with Twitch with and without ad-block? If those 800 viewers mostly have ad-block enabled, are they counting toward his revenue at all without donating bits? I don't watch Twitch enough to know how this works, exactly.

Is that a veiled threat or something by Phil? if he does have "evidence" what exactly does he plan to do with it? lol. He's probably full of shit, the reason his monetization declined was because of ad block not because of people restreaming his shit.

If I was a Trekkie equivalent to what I am for Phil drama I'd be wearing a fruity jumpsuit and flashing the Vulcan sign at a convention. If I was the LoTR equivalent I'd be in Gandalf Regalia. Granted I'm not as extreme as some people and most people who know me don't know I watch TIHYDP and I don't do much but watch and comment. But I fully acknowledge and embrace the fact that a large part of my current entertainment is watching Phil flail around.

Nowadays most people have some stupid trivial hobby that sometimes occupies a disproportionate part of their life. Some people waste their life watching game of thrones, some people dedicate their lives to watching pointless ball games by rich assholes who don't know or give a shit about them, some bang away their years in darkened basements programming obsolete software. At the very least, unlike most tv shows our hobby is real life drama, to a certain extent ,that we can draw actual lessons from.

So the next time somebody accuses another SOK,Twitter,Kiwi dude of being obsessed...Aside from crossing some line like actually stalking, what does that mean? As far as I'm concerned anybody posting here or indulging in the drama enough to actually care has lost the moral high ground to complain.

So he claims that he's already signed with another network but his channel wouldn't be managed. Which means that he's still susceptible to copyright strikes. Plus he still has to manually enable ads on his almost 50K videos.

If he's not managed, why be part of a network at all? Like a network has to provide something worth the cut they take off your ad revenue.

ContentID protection is probably worth it but I'm under the impression that's a managed partner deal.

Phil is either lying or he dumbly signed a shitty agreement and got sodomized even worse than by Machinima.

Now that this 'saga' is reaching a head, I never got the appeal of this cunt. He was always an arrogant piece of shit, stupid as fuck and thoroughly unpleasant to watch and to listen to, with an obviously self-inflated ego and sense of importance. The only reason to watch was to just outright mock him and I don't have the desire to even do that, as he is the equivalent of nails on a chalk board to me.

I remember when people were BEGGING him to stop doing camcorder LPs and he constantly insisted that the camcorder LPs were completely superior to capture cards, using the dumbest fucking logic imaginable. He would still be doing them today if there wasn't such a pushback. It took someone actually building a PC for him for him to change it up (and then he shit-talked the guy who did it, basically for free). Phil is completely unable to change or recognize it and just wants to be paid for the minimal amount of work. YouTube is a completely different beast than it was 10 years ago and he's competing with people who use editing software, green-screens, build their own home studios...its a miracle he's survived this long. And it is not going to get any better, competition is only growing more and more heated. He not only doesn't acknowledge this, but he blames everyone and everything else for this fact including his fans. And he seems to think that his fans should be bowing and worshiping him for the 'content' he creates, even though there are not dozens, but hundreds of other creators they could easily go to instead of him.

He isn't charismatic, he's completely ungrateful, he shits on everyone (including loyal fans), fails to recognize any problems/shifts blame constantly and uploads 4 hour playthroughs, as if anyone is going to watch that shit. And then blames YouTube for his declining ad revenue. Who the hell is sticking around to watch him?

Who the hell is sticking around to watch him?

Some people fall for his feigned compassion. Phil doesn't give a shit about anything but 2 things, sitting on his ass watching movies and money. Fans think he actually likes them but he only likes their money.

Watching his new update video, he's speaking extremely fast i can barely keep up. Is speaking quickly a sign of anxiety or something?

In the new update posted couple minutes ago phil said he's turning off all youtube comments from now on. He's going full hermit mode. That will essentially leave him with all platforms where he has the "permaban" option. Twitch, Instagram and Twitter all allow permbans/block.
