Phil has always been strictly a gin man and over the years it is always a Tanqueray bottle of gin we've seen in vlogs. Don't think I've ever seen a bottle of vodka or beer in one of his videos. I also wonder what he mixes with the Gin.

Several gin cocktails are considered pretty high class, like martinis or whatever.

Gin is the boutique distillery fad in the US right now, since it is a new industry, no aging is required, and you can be creative with the botanicals.

Poor people in the US drink whatever's cheap. Could be rum, mezcal, vodka, whiskey, rubbing alcohol...
 
I can see Phil getting drink enough to tweet Leanna at night in a drunken stupor. He probably thought the tweet space was the searchbar thus the "pa" also I'm just being ridiculous he was just stupid as usual.

Has anyone ever played Wolf Among Us? You know the scene where Bigby goes to speak to Beauty and Beast in their apartment? And he knows they've been having money issues and they make themselves out to be dirt poor because Beauty had to take a job in a dirty ass inn and they have tons of debts from loans, so Bigby goes there expecting a hovel and he enters their apartment and its a luxury apartment with all this fancy art and all this high tech and they explain themselves like "You don't understand, this is the least money we've ever HAD we may have to DOWNGRADE OUR APARTMENT!"

Phil is Beauty and Beast from Wolf Among Us. He's 'poor' in the sense he can't afford his current lifestyle anymore. To this day he still spends like he has 2011 - 2013 money. From 2014 - 2016 he could keep up that lifestyle due to alternate money sources like Machinima, no adpocalypse, Pandalee's job, Patreon when he used to hit the goal monthly etc. Now he can't, but he's still trying. I don't think he's lying when he says he's poor, I think he's that close minded about the world that he honestly believes he's poor.

Kind of makes you wonder what his breath smells like. People with bad hygiene tend to let tooth/mouth care go first, so I imagine between the gin and microwaved dinners, it smells something like a pine tree hot pocket.

On one of the more recent prestreams, Phil spoke about visiting Canada, as well as immigration issues.
Well, the region he supposedly visited in Canada, Newfoundland. isn't a town, it's a province, and as usual, his pronunciation is totally wrong...I call bullshit on him being to Canada because he'd have heard every resident say it.

Also, America is ridiculously strict with immigration and you can't draw social services unless you're part of the tax system. Ironic for Phil to criticise others for not working and leeching when he is the biggest leech what with him claiming his whole house as an office for a tax break. Not to mention Puerto Ricans are US Citizens so of course they are allowed to move to the US and do whatever they please.

Honestly with his years of lying on record that dates back to 2002 or so, I believe one of Phil's talents is to spin a situation into his favor at will. He know's how to lie just well enough on the fly for idiots (and i'll argue, autistic fans) to not notice he's lying or do any second guessing to what he is saying. In reality, his fans enjoy being mistreated and lied too for whatever reason. It's really the internet version of Stockholm Syndrome.

he does that sober so it's not too farfetched. He cried about losing Leanna for 10 minutes the other night cause he needs someone to make him dinner.

I don't recall anyone calling him poor in a long long time if ever. aside this one guy that you just quoted. Pretty sure Phil lying out of his ass about finances and him earning way more than he lets it be known is common knowledge

I've noticed it too, but it's really interesting how the recent brother thing has been one of the few times he can't rely fully on "believe me guys" since the chatlogs are clear proof. It's one of the only times the evidence needed isn't in his control.
 
It doesn't help the more he talked the more he put the foot in his mouth, either. One version of the situation at a glance is that Phil is so insecure about others talking about their troubles that he thinks it's an attack on his pride when they do. Another is that Phil is so paranoid that anyone that isn't a known whale/paypig is just trying to bait him to get more milk out of him for detractor content.
 
Isn't it pathetic that you're so insecure that you're up at 5 in the morning just to play off some random butt tweet as a lame intentional joke. Okay, so Phil is usually up around this time anyway but still... 'Hey everybody look at me I made a funny. I'm not the pathetic mess crashed out unconscious on the floor I so obviously am.'

No you're right, "forever poor." was meant to be in italic but mobiles n all, we all know hes rolling in it, he is and always has been a black hole for money.


Just got back and see him playing wrastling, not sure how someone can sit and watch phil play this sort of game but then again....

Both.

Maybe it was this thread or another one with a pathological liar, but cows like Phil have been lying so long and so often that their brains have quite literally adapted to it.
