As a rule (at least for me), if he's not hitting support for a bunch of time and he suddenly hits a huge anon tip (like $50) to just barely hit the goal, if it's a tip that says "!tip" from "!tip" or a $20+ tip that sounds fake as fuck that's trying to gas him up when he's talking about, it's very likely fake. DSP has repeatedly proven that the dude is a horrible fucking liar, so the tells are pretty obvious. I think that now, he's likely to be faking tips less since he genuinely cannot afford to fake tips with any regularity due to how dogshit his support is, hence why the fake tips from months ago stopped (though I'd genuinely like to see somebody look back to see when the super suspicious tips ended a bunch and whether or not that lines up with support cratering).

I think what you're saying is true for a lot of those sudden whale mary 50 dollar anon tips, but not all of them. The upper echelons of his whale dent clique do in fact have a vested (pun not intended) interest in making him appear sussessful, just like he does, remember Stepdad (I think it was) on kick offering to match sub for sub to goad minnows and dolphins into donating some money and rattling the tip jar on his behalf. A lot of those out of the blue anontips are gonna be fake tip jar padding, but a non-zero percentage of those sudden 50 buck tips to hit goals are going to be whales whaling out on him so he can larp as a super successful streamer with organic style support

What's funny is that if he hadn't verbally not-acknowledged his frustration with it, that would be true. It would be a funny clip people could point and laugh at which may have even garnered him some new viewers. The only problem is that any normie that watches his stream longer than 60 seconds will find him either unentertaining, annoying, or bolth. He really is the perpetual bully and victim in his own life, and the only ones that still watch his streams are his whales and haters.

It's remarkable how its only because the game isn't Animal Crossing so he has to engage his brain for more than 5 seconds at a time while playing and also because in the last trailer the narrator was a woman using a talking to children voice and for some reason that has triggered him immensely.

I have two friends right now playing it and they love it, there's a lot to do, and I guess they will be adding more to it over time. He would easily treat it like a minecraft stream but why do that when we have DQ7 the game everyone loves.

I mean money, sure, wife and home, sure. But I think he knows that him being online for all these years is all he really has against everyone else. It's why he keeps saying "I'm still here after all these years" The irony, or maybe another word for it, is that he's just kind of there by virtue of being a heavily documented, but otherwise mostly unharrassed lolcow internet oddity. It also helps that he hooked his lure into really loyal whales.

Right now he's streaming to 181 people with around 15 active chat participants. How many viewers are there to hate-watch? How many in chat are there to leave a message to get a rise. Any other streamer would take this as an "alright, we're done here" moment after 18 years and no growth without the help of other men. But Phil doesn't need to do this, because he's always got some retard behind the scenes ready to bail him out, even if it's not every day.

The only reason this guy is still around is because he is shameless, that's it, he has no shame, no pride, no self control, no self-reflection, no inner voice. Anyone else would be gone because one of those things tells them to, DSP is incapable, he knows he can't do anything else ever in his life, its this or the street. Just being stubbornly around because you can't do anything else when your peers are millionaires and retiring is no measure of success.

He should have figured out what to do from the first moment that he actually successfully fired the gun, but he's right about the Goldeneye controls being jank as fuck. It was a FPS designed to be played on a controller with one analog stick, you have to press a button to even get a reticle, and then move that over enemies and press fire. I can see losing half of his health on the first guy, fine, but he successfully aimed and fired the gun but continued to flounder from there. While he has a point, he's still a retard.

But that's not even true, you dont need the reticle in GoldenEye, the game has auto-aim, there are very few instances that you need to hard aim on something like that and the devs knew it so they had the auto-aim for everything else. So while that part is "jank" its minimal. You can move and fire, strafe, reload without having to stop and hard aim something.

The truth is, the goal he has put in place for 2-3 whales is impossible. Even 3 trust fund kids cannot maintain it, because giving $70k after fees each is insane.

No matter how bad support gets, eventually someone mysteriously comes along the way to whale his ass out. The retrothon not even hitting $400 in support is very unusual for DSP standards, money must be very tight for the usual suspects at the moment. Dent's Law states that no matter how bad support gets someone will always come along to bail him out, so it's just a waiting game at this point to see what happens.
