A while ago I speculated that Phil has OCPD (obsessive compulsive personality disorder) which isn't someone having to wash their hands 8 times but rather a person who becomes totally obsessed with systems as a way to satiate their anxiety. I believe this clip paints a clear picture that Phil has OCPD or something very similar and is basically unable to not fixate on "support" or continuously "loop" about the same subjects.
I think the clips shows that I was correct. I think his alleged autism makes him extremely anxious all of the time and his way of dealing with this is extensive schedules and mental gymnastics and is the best explanation of the Phil we see today.
While it is true that he is dependent on "support" to survive (and also to waste money on stupid shit), I fully believe that the reason he is the way he is is that he is mentally/clinically totally obsessed with his little streaming game (subs, tips etc).

While i don't follow Phil's antics for years now i have so in the past and was aware of him long before i knew of KF (making fun of DSP was an old /v/ staple) and honestly, i don't think therapy, going outside, whatever normie stuff you can think of that could help somewhat normal people just wouldn't work on Phil. Phil just doesn't seem like he's much "there", he does his usual Pigroach shit that he has been doing for years and will do so for years to come, neither feeling happy nor sad about it but nonetheless doing these things, incapable of change nor introspection. I am not even sure DSP truly registers that other people beside him exist, despite having lived with Khet for quite some time and before that with PandaLee.
For sure he's at a point where it's debatable if heavy intervention would even matter at this point. He's been doing this shit for almost 2 decades and by all accounts is not only addicted to gambling but is also an alcoholic.
I've been morbidly curious about this for years now, not only regarding DSP. So many people are using these platforms as their only source of income, social contact etc. I would like to see YT, Twitch and all these platforms just disappear from one day to another (i know this most likely will never happen) just to sate my curiosity.

100%. I don't use TikTok but just watching the average YT video makes me think that it's all just a massive grift for the average "creator". Channels with views in the hundreds and an equal amount of subscribers already doing Members Only videos, have Patreons and Ko-fi etc. And viewers actually throwing money at these retards, validating the grifters. It has taken on absolutely ridiculous proportions. No hate for the small channels that put out actual good stuff and want to be paid for it but these have become so incredibely rare (depends on the niche though, there's lots of great small channels in the miniature painting space for example).
