As per the part about his mom being a low-IQ whore: He's admitted that his parents were cheating on eachother at some point. I think it was around the time that he had the car crash? Mind you, this was AFTER his father stopped going to school to get his last degree so he was likely spending more time with Linda, and it wouldn't make sense to cheat on your husband if he was around MORE, unless, of course, you'd been cheating for years beforehand. I'd also like to think DSP inherited his IQ from Linda, but he could've realistically had two parents with IQs in the low 90s.

As per the Linda not raising her child right: The back of his head is flat as fuck, indicating he didn't get his "tummy time" (IIRC that he wasn't allowed to be on his stomach as a toddler?), which makes it seem as if Linda wasn't raising him enough. That and the story about the Wolverine toy indicates the dude had literally never been told "no" as a child if the dude was literally begging and pleading for the toy even though it wasn't even his birthday (or Christmas? I don't 100% remember) and then was bitching at his parents when he got a toy from its second run like 6 months later. There's also a story about him throwing a bitch-fit about a Wolverine costume when he was IIRC in his early-to-mid teens (I verified the age range via local weather reports from the time, and it was actual merch that came out during the X-Men series that aired in the 90s) because he couldn't see out of the mask just right, and rather than just get the costume and not use the mask like a normal teenager, he tried to have make his own costume from like cardboard and aluminum and shit.

I think the shift to gassing himself up again really shows how fucked up his psyche is when it comes to "I'VE CHANGED DOOD!"

When his channel was dying because he refused to use direct capture and finally did it, did he thank people for encouraging him, not it was "I AM USING DIRECT CAPTURE LIKE YOU GUYS KEPT TELLING ME TO WHERE ARE THE VIEWS!!!!"

When he switched to Twitch, then back to Youtube, then back to Twitch, and finally back to YouTube, did he thank people for staying with him, no it was, "I'M ON YOUTUBE LIKE YOU ASKED WHERE ARE THE VIEWS!!!!!"

When he gets a sudden burst of relevance again is it thanking people for checking him out, no it's "NOW GUYS I AM CROWD FUNDED AND NEED SUPPORT! IF YOU HATE THAT YOU'RE A NO LIFE LOSER!"

Every time he updates his setup in some way that impacts actual viewer experience in no fucking way, "GUYS MY SETUP IS UPGRADED LIKE YOU ASKED 10 YEARS AGO, WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE VIEWS."

DSP really internalizes this idea he can make a sudden change, even if it was something people were asking years ago for and expect people to suddenly like him or start supporting him again. He literally cannot envision that people stopped watching him for any number of reasons and some surface level change will not suddenly bring back the thousands of people he used to have watching him. It really makes all the shit he does with thumbnails or acting like a friendly nice guy so fake and gay, especially because he just relapses into his usual behavior within a month and suddenly acts shocked when people don't stick around. He really does act like an abusive ex constantly messaging you telling you how they have changed.

He cannot accept that his current situation will always be a monkey at the zoo flinging shit. People will come and gawk, but they will move onto to the lions and shit the zoo really promotes.

A while ago I speculated that Phil has OCPD (obsessive compulsive personality disorder) which isn't someone having to wash their hands 8 times but rather a person who becomes totally obsessed with systems as a way to satiate their anxiety. I believe this clip paints a clear picture that Phil has OCPD or something very similar and is basically unable to not fixate on "support" or continuously "loop" about the same subjects.
I think the clips shows that I was correct. I think his alleged autism makes him extremely anxious all of the time and his way of dealing with this is extensive schedules and mental gymnastics and is the best explanation of the Phil we see today.

While it is true that he is dependent on "support" to survive (and also to waste money on stupid shit), I fully believe that the reason he is the way he is is that he is mentally/clinically totally obsessed with his little streaming game (subs, tips etc).

I made a penultimate style post in the DSP psychology thread with a bit of analysis of the clip and a self-affirmation that I was correct about Phil having either OCPD or something similar:

I think a key thing though is that a person just has to feel productive but they aren't actually necessarily productive. The way I read it (at least from my own perspective) is that the idea isn't necessarily just being a workaholic but that a person truly engulfs themselves in "a/the system" and obsessively works within it to escape anxiety and other things, which for me definitely matches with what we see with DSP. There's been multiple times where he could've explored stepping away years ago but he obviously has some anxiety about leaving "the system" he has.

My dad was very big on exploring countries and trying local foods and customs. Really appreciate that he instilled that me when I was young, when I was in and in places like Afghanistan and Korea, I was all about exploring and trying foods. People I worked with always hit me with "just give it to twrx, dude will eat anything". When you are stationed overseas, wether as a dependent or the service member, you are the example and diplomat of our country that local nationals see. Don't make us look bad.

I have empathy for Phil's obvious agoraphobia and paranoia, the thing is he has taken all criticism to mean just improving his stream setup and hasn't dealt with his agoraphobia in a healthy manner because he probably doesn't understand it.
