Phil has deliberately kept himself in a grey area. It's part of how he got popularity in the first place, by gaming a system.
He's aware of the parameters and slithers around accordingly. It's why he's so obsessed with rules and other arbitrary bullshit "THATS AGAINST THE LAW YOU CANNOT DO THAT" while he creeps around corners that allow him to.

The whole pushing boundries and laughing it off as a fallback, then acting smug when he does get away with it, or running it back when he gets actual lashback for it and then telling you to forget about that ever happening.

Evil or not, he knows exactly what he's doing and is acting accordingly. Does he deserve the same as what an evil pedophile or mass murderer does? Nah but he's in by no means a good person, at all.


The most criminal thing he has done is being a fraud nigger. He didn't earn anything in life while acting like he worked hard for it.

He does the strained, constipated seagull laugh after he insults someone too, usually after a superchat he doesn't like. I think he thinks "If I laugh, everyone else will laugh with me", like a laugh track on a sitcom, but it just ends up with second-hand embarrassment. So people might laugh at him, but they're laughing at him the same way they would a village idiot running down the street naked laughing like a moron. Maybe he's started to interpret that as a success, and he doesn't get the joke he's being laughed at. He has enough self-awareness to know Kick is basically full of people watching him ironically, but he probably realised around the Casino arc he could market himself as being liked ironically and insincerely, which is fine as long as he gets the almighty dollar.
 
I challenge anybody who thinks Phil is faking being a retard to watch today's podcast. There are at least 3 moments in there where he sounds like he's a moron and borderline retarded.

I’ve kind of refused to watch any of his stream today since he was going to use cobra’s death for a cash grab. I really wish people would stop watching people video/donating to people over Josh’s death. It’s fuckin’ horrible to profit off of someone’s death.

I would genuinely love to see this faggot tell a group of Mexicans doing drywall 40hrs a week that he “breaks his back” doing piss-poor unedited gameplay videos.

Phail is a bad person without being the worst person.

Phail is a sore loser and a bad winner. He's rude, apparently just for the sake of being rude. He lies, denies truths, and insults everyone he thinks is above (and below) him. Phail doesn't accept responsibility for anything unless he thinks it will get him a "win." He consistently demonstrates dishonesty. Phail is vulgar out of context. He has an inflated sense of self that is unwarranted based on his own accomplishments.

I don't know if he's mean to khet or if she's in on the grift. Locking up a cat without access to water and a litter box is cruel, and they're bolth responsible for that.

These traits make him unlikeable to me. It goes further than unlikeable. Phail's behavior is so poor that it pushes him into being a bad person in my eyes. Murder, rape and assault are rather low standards for being a bad person.
 
Every one of his "podcasts" are insane in their own way. Today he reconnect his entire YouTube career and life. Him being bad at games was on purpose. Him saying stupid shit was just joking. He worked his ass off his entire life. He's a good guy!

His podcasts are like a therapy session with himself. Shit is so retarded. Cobra's death was a chance for him to say how hes super healthy and not fat! I dont know how anyone makes it through his streams everyday without smashing their phone or computer. Its maddening to listen to this guy.

Its because Phil doesnt have principals or general human thoughts, the man is 100% glass ego. He believes whatever he needs to believe in the moment that will most benefit himself while keeping his fragile ego in tact. Its why its pointless point out hes a hypocrite, his ego will just explain away why its not really a contradiction. Its way funnier when you pot shot the ego by saying hes broke after he complains about not being able to afford food, then get a 30 min board room meeting about how sucessful the business actually is after all!

I like this way of putting it. Its like if you had a list of all the traits that make someone a poor human and a list of traits that made someone a horrible/evil human, Phil would posses almost every single poor human trait without really possesing many evil human traits. Its like hes the worst possible version of what an average human could be without being that terrible of a person.

To chime in, Phil's terrible. Not in a malicious way but in a quality of life way.

He'd throw his fellow man under the bus to line his pockets. He only helps people if he thinks it makes him look good. He's a coward and grifter and a liar. If you hold him to his Catholic values he embodies every sin in the good book. Dude moved two women into his house just to show how cool he is and then desperately tried to hide them when he realized they weren't just trophies, that they were humans. He takes zero accountabilty. He contributes nothing to society and he's only cheated his way to where he is. A former cop has said he has a broken morality compass. He's always pretending to be "one of the people" but actually won't stand up for shit until he's protected from it. Any other time he's an absolute sheep.

He's a worm. Like Grima Wormtongue or Gollum. Like Ozz Cobb. Like Littlefinger or Tyrion Lannister. He sneaks around pretending to be small but he's the most insidious person I've ever seen. If you have to compare him against murderers and rapists you KNOW he's a bad person. He needs his windpipe crushed and you would be doing the world a favour. Not because he's a threat but because it would be one less nuisance.
