Retard crashout last night and a crashout about shipping issues for everything he orders today. Can't believe that shipping is so unreliable and he doesn't think his FF cards are showing up and he will have to apply for a refund.

The funny thing is, Phil has no problem using "slurs" or whatever you want to call them. He'll call you a retard all day long. Phil thinks calling people stupid is the best insult, and he does it 100 times a stream---idiot, moron, retard, stupid, mouth drooler. You could post 100 facts that disprove what he says, but if he calls you an idiot, he wins.

But Phil also has to prove that he's smarter than you, that in 1928 "retarded" had some other medical definition that is totally irrelevant now. So I don't think he's trying to avoid getting in trouble, because he's too much of a pussy to risk that. He's just smarter than you, so he knows that "retard" and "idiot" are secretly genius-level putdowns and not playground insults that 12-year-olds use when they have nothing else to say.
It was said not long ago in this thread by someone else, but it's his go-to insult because it's a major insecurity of his. Kinda like Chris-chan, on some level he knows that he isn't as smart as everyone else. This leads to a need to "prove" that he is smarter and right about things in a way that actually smart people don't experience.

It share some similarities with the type of people who believe in retarded conspiracy theories like Flat Earth. They're always actual morons and I don't mean in the insulting sense. They need to get a win over all of the smarter, more knowledgeable people that they feel are to blame for their feelings of inadequacy. It's essentially an instance of sour grapes. If they can just be right one time while all of the educated, intelligent people are wrong, they can use it as an example forever to soothe themselves. "See? Education is worthless because they're not right every time. That's why I didn't get one, and it has nothing to do with me being incapable."

That's why he is always immediately drawn to contrarian opinions. He doesn't want to follow the opinions of the smart people because that is a kind of admission that they are right, and they were right before him. Learning about a subject is a lot of effort, so he just adopts the opposite point of view in the hopes that the common opinion will turn out to be wrong. Then he will get to go back to "that time I was right and everyone was wrong" over and over again. A good example is how detractors have been overwhelmingly accurate in their predictions about his behavior, so he has to drag to the escort saga every single time because it's the only win he's ever gotten.

I need to stop here or it's going to end up like my pages of posts about how bad he is at lying, and I could probably say even more on the topic of just how incredibly stupid he is.
