I think Phil's paranoia is both real and fake. If that makes sense. On one hand, he is acting like such a cunt that I would not be surprised if someone went out of their way to kick his teeth in (and perhaps even record it). On the other hand, he is such an insignificant worm and isolated hermit that the paranoia itself is more damaging than psysical action.

When I think about a middle-aged man who’s been doing YouTube as a job for almost twenty years, and whose sole plan in life is to continue doing it for another 20-30 years, getting excited over a video reaching 4k views, I feel such an acute secondhand existential dread that I suddenly understand why he is losing his mind and drowning himself in his vices.

The game is getting pretty high scores across the board, which makes this new grift even more awkward and retarded. It's basically a This Is How You Don't Play, because it's 10 minutes of him being absolutely dog shit at the game, not understanding mechanics (because there is no yellow paint) and him complaining. But instead of owning up to his own lack of skill and rolling with the TIHYDP stuff, the game is deemed to be "slop". So it's not his fault, nothing he could do, he did everything correct.

I justz rememebered one of his reeemergency rants from either 10 or 9 years ago where he was already in dire straits and he refuted the idea of getting a real job with "I wouldn't make the same amount of money and I couldn't do any streams at the evening so I have to stay the course, I have to keep playing videogames" And now? Not much has changed except he isn't even playing videogames anymore, most of the time he wastes everyone's time with yapping his loose mouth and whenever he actually plays he looks like he has seen Khet naked

4.5 k views for a "highlight video" and he thinks he is hot shit again. Just ignore the other videos not even surpassing 500 views guys. Also: isn't that number still not enough to "break even"? Really sussesful there king dumbfuck!

Thats crazy. If I had seen that video without knowing who the creator is I would have clicked on it just for something as background noise. Thats not a DSP video title, thats not a dsp thumbnail.
It seems he's cracked the code. And I'm not going to watch it but if its just him sitting in RGB land with his saggy face and nasally voice that's a quick click off for anyone who isn't a retard.

It's weird in a sense that the video is almost like a TIHYDP except it's cut with Phail moaning about "the diffucult gameplay" in between him being complete ass.

I know he only cares about the views but that's really not a good look. The thumbnail makes you think it's going to be a video essay or something but no, it's just a compilation of a middle aged man ranting cuts with him being the worst at that game.

Over the viewers I wonder how many clicked on it, expecting that sort of compilation ? it's crazy he now need to catfish people into clicking on his channel to get views

2. Removing his ugly mug from the thumbnail (very hard, considering how narcissistic he is) and using a generic title to fool some poor schmucks who don't read the channel's name.
