edit: damn she's actually pretty cute and that smile she puts on is adorable... Like an actually really attractive women... enough of the thirst posting but it feels like with this and the impending Asmongold interview that Phil is going to actually become "popular" or infamous. When cute chicks start exploring this retardation you know we're on the edge of Phil Burnell and "detractors" becoming gentrified.
You're genuinely subhuman levels of IQ.

Back off nigger, I saw her first.

I think "detracting" is going to get even more gentrified than it already is.
To be fair the entire lolcow culture is already as normie and "gentrified" as it gets. It all started with CWC fucking Barb, that got a bunch of newfags curious and then they found there were a bunch of cows with more than a decade of history each, so they expected lolcows to be this internet WWE show where it's a big event every time. Then of course Keemstar, being the 40 y/o who wears his cap sideways, had to make it all about him and launched Lolcow Live, which is what people usually think lolcows are (like when they do parodies of anime in shows and they look like how people imagine all anime looks like) but since it wasn't some even horizon every week he had to come up with the scripted drama and somehow made wrestling but even gayer. It's no surprise that shows like Kino Casino have also grown around the same time period, where people don't get that you're not supposed to tap the glass and you just laugh at the fat retard, you don't insert yourself into the story, like it's not your fucking Harry Potter fanfic.

It's like when people go to the zoo for the first time and just want to feed the animals even though they're told to because to them it's more important to get an interaction with the enclosed animal and don't think how this could affect long term. Or people who get into a show, love it but then feel like they can dictate how it should continue, ignoring that the show was doing fine before they even found about it. Someone said it, but anyone who watches Phil talk for an hour and legit believes he deserves money shouldn't have money to begin with, especially when Phil is just going to burn it.

Something that stood out to me at first, and I don't know if this has changed since, is Asmon said he was only going to talk to Phil for 30 minutes. Given Phil opens with his usual prestream spiel, 30 minutes isn't even enough time for Phil to get through half of his spiel, and that's assuming Asmon just stays quiet the whole time and never chimes in. If Phil just rambles and does his usual spiel, I could see the interview not even lasting 30 minutes. Especially if Asmon cuts the BS and ask Phil what he wants to talk about, since Phil was the one who contacted him. Phil won't be able to give a real answer and just keep repeating the prestream spiel until Asmon just mercy kills the call to stream...uhh, whatever he normally does. Even if you don't account for the prestream spiel, 30 minutes isn't a huge chunk of time, it sounds like he just wants to brush Phil aside quickly to get to his real streaming content
Lol if Sir Gold only gave him a 30 minute timeslot Phail will barely finish answering a single question. I don't really know much about Sir Gold so I dunno if he'll even attempt tardwrangling him, nobody else who has talked to him has bothered to do so yet and just let him yap and loop.

It takes hours for him to explain how his uneventful day went. It's like he thinks he gets paid by the word.

DSP: "So, *thigh slap* Sir Gold, now's your chance to clear the air, I'm talking to you man to man, what do you want to ask me?"
Sir Asmongold: (asks a question)
DSP: "Fair enough, let's begin with some context. You see, 15 years ago..."

I'm forced to assume this is gotta be a troll. Asmon knows enough about Phil to understand you can't do this unless you are just planning to epically own him, LOL.

I'm kinda happy people can just do collabs and not the usual drama back and forth that doesn't go anywhere. I'm bored of the same shit, I don't care what DSP has done its just cool to have this happen.
This will result in drama though, if Phil gets any sort of pushback from Asmon he's going to bitch and moan for hours on end afterwards.

The funniest Asmongold option is to NOT have it be 'an interview' but just have it be a normal ass conversation about random stuff because Dave can't cope with talking like a real human.
Thinking about it, it's honestly the best way to actually do this, because it will inevitably show just how low IQ Phil truly is. Imagine bringing him in for a videogame talk.

"Hey Phil, what do you think of the increase in game prices?"
*30 minute answer about how it's bullshit but the first 29 minutes are his history on YouTube*
"But wait, don't you buy CoD every year at full price?"

Just calling him out at every turn would be hilarious, because yes, fundamentally Phil is right about many things, mostly because he just whines and bitches about everything, so he's bound to be correct a few times. If you roll a d20 dice a thousand times and you call 5, you will eventually get 5, but you don't get to jump and gloat about how you were "right all along". A dream interview would involve having Phil chime in but just disrespectfully calling him out for his hypocrisy, just "shut up bitch, you spent six figures on a gacha game" and laugh at him while daring him to speak up and calling him a bitch when he doesn't defend himself. Phil hates to be seen as a joke, so a big platform where he's brought on just to be ridiculed would completely tear his ego. Just remember how butthurt he was over "A DECADE OF FAILURE" even though TurkeyTom wasn't particularly mean about Phil, but those words stung because it's what a million people saw next to his face. If his reputation went from "bad gamer who beat off on camera and e-begs" to "dumbest person on the internet and a little bitch" he'd legit lose it on camera. A picture of his twiggly arms sent him into his "buff" arc. Imagine millions just seeing him get the Adam Friedland on Cum Town treatment

If you’re bored of the same shit, then you’d be bored of these desperate interviews. This shit started with The Quartering, then was a big deal with SideScrollers, then Keemstar, then that weird Stephen guy, Null, RTU, and recently Wings. It’s a combination of Phil practicing/larping human interactions that he doesn’t partake in IRL, and an attempt at redemption. It’s pathetic and boring because it’s the same thing over and over and over.

It would definitely bruise his ego but I have to wonder if it will just get buried again with more delusions. Like on some level he has to be aware of his situation, right?
It's just gotten so bad and he's gotten so out of touch with reality, even past the obvious lies and coping he does. I don't even know anymore, that last little bit of humanity might be suffocated under all those layers of delusions.
It's been years and I never actually played a whole lot of it, but I've been thinking a lot about Darkest Dungeon.
In that game, when a character reaches 100+ stress, they either succumb and gain and Affliction or push through and gain a Virtue. I feel like we're getting to that point with Phil and I want to know what will happen when he hits 100 stress - will the delusions win or will reality finally cause him to crash? What happens after that?
I don't think Phil is very good at lying but I do however think he is dumb enough to believe his own lies. We'll see what happens.

Just gonna leave this here

Im seeing stuff about people facing charge backs on YouTube. Can you imagine if that happens to Phil? How the hell would he even prevent it? I can imagine him crashing out hard though.
This would be really interesting to see since not too long ago Phil would generally only have a few hundred dollars in the bank. If he gets charged back $1200 it might put him in the red.
