This is completely legal behavior. I could go outside and do this, too. But I would be in no danger, living in a nigger-free environment. But if I did, and one of the melanated individuals took offense, and took a swing at me, maybe I'd swing back. Maybe I'd just take the beating I invited.

You know what I wouldn't do? I wouldn't whip out a fucking gun, because I like the idea of not spending the rest of my life in prison like some kind of goddamn retard
Also if we look at this from the basis that this is all about free speech then why aren't chud's defenders making any arguments that dont stem from calling black people niggers?
If it is truly about free speech why not the argument that you can just walk up to a white couple and ask how much to fuck someone's wife to their face and if the husband beats your head in that the husband should go to jail for attacking you over free speech?

Because all of his supporters are white trash retards who can't see this as anything but
that-could-have-been-me-the-simpsons.gif
It obviously did, brainiac. And he very clearly indicated that that was his intention. I hope for your sake your obtuseness is deliberate.
Considering he keeps saying unlawful force despite that applying to any physical contact not just a punch he hopefully is just that retarded and obtuse
This should be his closing argument. "Yeah when I shot that guy and tried to murder him, I was JUST PLAYING A CHARACTER." Let's see how that works in front of a jury. LMAO.
And to give the guys running this argument a bone, This would probably hold up better in court if there were not numerous examples of him acting like this before getting fame online. He originally got fired from his job pre CTB because he flipped off black people and called them niggers in a company truck. Was he playing a character then or was the spirit of chud the builder entering his body and setting him up for this 15 internet minutes of fame?
Calling the mixed race Middle Easterner known as chud a nigger gets all of his fan boys to chimp out, clearly demonstrating that it *is* provocation.
What is the point of an insult if not to provoke a response of any kind?

Worked for Mr. Baldwin.
That was also an insane case to stay up to date on.
Can't imagine myself feeling safe using weapons that the on set armorer would regularly take out and use to shoot actual bullets for fun compared to having seperate guns for that and guns to be used on set.
Edit: even non chud posts get stickered by trb

All this arguing over a term with none fucking bothering to look that shit up is worrisome. How the fuck you going to argue from a stance, not knowing what's meant, and keep saying words are included in that term when it clearly says this

Words

Almost universally, the courts have rejected words alone as providing adequate provocation for a homicide unless accompanied by conduct indicating a present intention and ability to cause bodily harm.

Here's regarding the mutual combat and assault mentioned

  • Mutual Combat. Where two parties willingly enter a fight, and during the fight one of the parties kills the other, if the intention to kill was formed during the struggle, the homicide will be held to be voluntary manslaughter rather than murder.
  • Assault and Battery. A deadly or severe assault, or a strike with the fist that causes substantial pain or injury, may be sufficient to establish reasonable provocation. A minor blow is not sufficient to constitute a reasonable provocation.

Those are legal terms from the sauce thus TN law should use said definition, but their AG seems like a retard from some of the dumb shit they've done. Wouldn't be surprised if they do what they want.

There's talk about his posts, wanting it to happen, yet supposedly there's posts from Fox saying he's specifically going to look for Chud with the intention of killing him.
Fox also had charges relating to violence from 2024.
I did hunt that down somewhat, but not court records which would be ideal.

The man Chud The Builder shot yesterday has been identified as Joshua Fox, who was charged with aggravated domestic assault after allegedly threatening his wife with a screwdriver and trying to burn the house down in 2024.On April 18, 2024, in Clarksville, Tennessee, domestic incident at a Tower Drive apartment.Joshua Fox told officers his wife would not let him leave. His wife told officers Joshua was upset over vehicle issues preventing him from leaving. She claimed Joshua had an aerosol can and a lighter and attempted to burn the house down. When she tried to take the can away, they both fell to the ground. She said Joshua then grabbed a screwdriver and held it to her side, causing her to back away.Officers located the aerosol can and screwdriver as described. They deemed Joshua the primary aggressor and arrested him for aggravated domestic assault.

That's the most hilarious thing about these "white supremacist" fags. NONE OF YOU ARE WHITE!

I am speaking as a white man. I am whiter than every single one of you. Pure Anglo-Saxon here bro.

Meanwhile you idiots are all Mexican or something. You aren't even WHITE!

You do realize that this^ is not relevant, right?

The sequence is provoking words -> reaction by physical means -> shoot/kill. It is not provoking words -> shoot/kill.

This should be his closing argument. "Yeah when I shot that guy and tried to murder him, I was JUST PLAYING A CHARACTER." Let's see how that works in front of a jury. LMAO.
The “just a character” argument is profoundly retarded no matter how you look at it. Even if you believe that “Chud the Builder” is just a character played by Dalton Eatherly as part of his career in nuisance streaming à la Borat, it is still a character that is antagonizing random people on the street and then trying to get them to hit him so he can shoot them. Sasha Bara Cohen is also a disruptive prick when he plays his “candid camera” characters, but he gets away with it since he doesn't actually goad people into attacking him and has a security team ready to pull him out and rough up “impromptu audience members” when they do attempt to take a swing at him. This is on par with “prank” channels that antagonize random people and then sue them if they are harmed over their “just a prank bro” bullshit.

Trufax but he doesn't murder people. And if someone did take a swing at him, he'd take it.

You do realize that this^ is moot, right?
The sequence is provoking words -> Fill in the blank | Use anything, everything, and it will remain moot since it doesn't matter what's next.
Being a retard unable to control themselves from fucking audbile sounds is their problem.

Just because you're hung up on murder is also a you problem.
It originates from murder, is usually used in murder cases, and is also called a crime of passion like killing a cheating lover. Still doesn't matter because it's underpinned by a person losing control contrasted to a reasonable man

Does this make it easier for you?
Almost universally, the courts have rejected words alone as providing adequate provocation
Same idea, context, and meaning. Cut in half if you get distracted, or find yourself stuck on stupid

From special needs sources
During the 19th century the idea that it was desirable for dignified men to respond with violence when they were insulted or ridiculed began losing traction and was replaced with the view that while those responses may not be ideal, that they were a normal human reaction resulting from a loss of self-control, and, as such, they deserved to be considered as a mitigating circumstance
During the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, the defense of provocation, and the situations in which it should apply, have led to significant controversies, with many condemning the concept as an anachronism, arguing that it contradicts contemporary social norms where people are expected to control their behavior, even when angry.

There's plenty more to help you understand this better if needed. Just as there's plenty here to help you understand it futher if you really wanted.

Fun fact: some people are completely retarded. They don't understand simple concepts.
Cool, so why did this simple concept elude you then?

Almost universally, the courts have rejected words alone as providing adequate provocation
Just providing same special service for the mentally challenged. Is your's stemming from being too lazy to read leading to your inability to comprehend. If not then what part do you need help with

This is only relevant if the DA decides to charge Fox for assault/battery. It is irrelevant in determining if Chud had a legitimate claim to self defense, since he was obviously trying to engineer the situation.

nothing sounds reasonable like going around calling random people niggers and telling them to chimp out
Not how that works. Try this. Besides blacks will any person in any race be upset? Now does that sound reasonable to lose your temper?
Can even argue further by using negro. How will we convince both Spanish and Italian to now use the French noir? Want to crack that nut opening up the flood gate to other dumb shit?

Does this make it easier for you?
Shockingly, editing to remove the critical point is not a solid approach and enhances neither your effort at a point nor your credibility. Apparently equally shockingly, apples and oranges are different.

The question is not whether words give a license to kill. That is a very different question to what actually is at issue.

Moreover, the analysis for liability of the shooter is not about whether the dead man had a "right" to take a swing. There are multiple points and aspects of the full situation that can impact the outcome. Fact-specific and jurisdictionally nuanced. They've been stated by me and by many others multiple times, but the short of it is that as a doctrine, the question does not begin and end where you think it does.

, and the situations in which it should apply, have led to significant controversies, with many condemning the concept as an anachronism, arguing that it contradicts contemporary social norms where people are expected to control their behavior, even when angry.

You're still talking about the wrong thing, but even what you're focusing on is wrongly understood. You literally showed me "it has historically been cool to be able to fight when insulted, but today some people assert that we shouldn't do that."

Here's a hint: if the strongest argument for a norm is that some people are trying to argue that it should become so, you have conceded that it isn't.

Lol, trying two of us, huh? 😂 Cute.

The fictional character "Chud the Builder", performed by Dalton Eatherly, saying the character's various catch phrases is not something I would expect a reasonable person to perceive as personally offensive or a call to violence.
This excuse reminds me of that Metokur video about headmates where speds would fuck shit up and then excuse themselves with "It wasn't me, it was my alter, he took over and did it".

Not how that works. Try this. Besides blacks will any person in any race be upset?
Yes, contrary to what you may believe, the majority of America is not comprised of /pol/ residents and don't take kindly to hearing the word nigger. You can already see this in Chud's own streams, where he's accosted by white people telling him to fuck off.
