Holy shit they shouldn't have had Sam voice Nott. Firstly and more kindly, Nott's voice cannot be kind on the throat of a man recovering from fucking throat cancer, and secondly and more meanly, since the cancer fucked up Sam's poor voice Nott just sounds ear-bleedingly bad. Nott's voice in the original stream was awful but in a kind of endearing way, but this Nott sounds like a drunk guy doing a horrible Elmo impression.
Agreed. Easily the worst of the bunch (for understandable reasons, but understanding doesn't stop my ears from bleeding) and it would make the most sense to replace the VA since the character is meant to be female anyways.

Welp, apparently Critical Role has enough gas that they’ve announced a Campaign 4, just with one teeny little change - Matt Mercer isn’t DM’ing

Probably, Brennan isn't anywhere near as pretentious as Mercer and doesn't take himself anywhere near as seriously.
It will still likely be a mess, but at least it will be a somewhat fun mess rather than a boring slog.

I hate how good the animation is for a show that is complete and total garbage. Almost makes me wish there was a fan edit that removed all the gay and gross shit that doesn't belong in a renaissance fantasy setting.

Brennan does not and will not learn or play anything except 5E, even when it makes zero sense, like with his retarded radio play Worlds Beyond Number. Which is so slow and so little of it even resembles a game that they should probably just stop pretending it even has a game element at all. As soon as he was announced they should have known.
Anyway, Brennan is an okay choice for a replacement, certainly better than Aabria (Diversity Hire) Johnston. But I will be curious to see how he does with something so complex. Dimension 20 is one of the most railroaded live plays you can watch. A sandbox west marches campaign seems way beyond his desire or ability.
