Cowboy Bebop Thread - Live-Action Adaptation cancelled after one season (it was shit)
The entire Ed scene looks like a fucking Nostalgia critic skit that'd show up in a review of the anime. Just replace spike with doug. The greenscreen is so bad. Why is the alley a greenscreen? Why didn't they properly scale it? the door to their right would be fucking tiny if it was real.
I know the standards for child actors is low but this is just bad. Like worst than a fanfilm. Also looks like they're gonna butcher Vincent if this shitfest ever gets a season 2.

Don't forget "replace rival smashing spike out the window with his ex GF who is now a strong woman who doesnt need man telling him off about how their relationship was a "bad dream" before she shoots him and he conveniently falls and smashes through the thick ass mosaic window like it was made out of paper.
Ok I torrented this thing to see how bad it is. Not really much that wasn't apparent from the clips.
The good:
(1) Guy who plays Jet. Props to him. He really tried. Hope he gets better work out of this shit show.
The Bad:
(1) Faye. Unlikeable character. Terrible actress. Fay isn't supposed to be some girl power tough girl trope.
(2) The tone completely misses the mark. Did they intentionally make it silly because the original was a cartoon and figured that's was the way it was supposed to be?
(3) Everything looks so cheap. Good Christ I've seen 90's syndicated shows with better production values.
(4) Recycling plots from the original show was a bad idea. Just shows how inferior this show is.
(5) Spike. 50-year-old John Cho is not action hero, leading man material. He is flat and lacks charisma. Makes the Julia flash back love scenes laughable.
(6) Vicious. Laughably bad 60s batman style villain. Whenever he is on the screen the show screeches to a halt. He has entirely too much screen time.
