Glad to hear it, I was under the impression the series was obscure and unpopular in Japan, I wonder why people spread rumors like that?
Cause it's one of those most cited "le dub is better" anime. They'd love nothing more than to pretend that Cowboy Bebop was some poor obscure show rescued from obscurity by the American licensors. Sorta like what's happened to Ghost Stories. So much so I've even heard dumb shit like, "Watanabe prefers the English dub."

> They/Them Ed is here boys :cryblood:
Called it. I knew Netflix would go this route. Since the show has been getting bad press, they may as well virtue signal.
Google has a pic of an Eden is he the son of thr Jane's Addiction guy?
If it is, he was still a boy a few months ago according to his father.

This Eden girl is gonna be fucked in the head given she's recently adopted new pronouns. Not only does this profile say 'she' when addressing her, reminding us that the pronoun shit is fake and just for woke points or she's already going through that kind of phase, but it says her 'guardian' is one of those crazy ass pageant moms whose put their child in multiple beauty pageants, dancing videos, and had her go on a world tour as a child dancer. Well, hopefully this acting role pays enough for her impending double mastectomy.

Here's your Glen bro. Went from an interesting and conflicted character into a walking sterotype.

Isn't that the sus guy? :tomgirl:

This is [current year]+6, if two women are in a scene they're lesbians, if two men are best friends they're secretly gay.
Can't wait to see the orgy on the ship wear Faye sucks Gren's girldick while Jet dicks down Spike.
One thing I've realized which Faye is a perfect example of is female characters today are both written and cast to just be stand ins for the female audience.

Which is why they look like female baristas at Starbucks, so the barista at Starbucks can imagine "what if I was not a barista but a space bounty hunter!" as they scoop down Hagen Das, surrounded by cats.
Modern female characters are either male characters written with a woman's body or quirky action girls. It's depressing this is the common choice for writing now.
I predict the audience score will get lower or stay in the current range

Only if Netflix doesn't bribe them to boost it to something believable like they do Disney's shit.
Skipped to the last episode because I dont have the patience to watch this.
> "Dont Lose, Me!" is now a zoom enhance meme scene.
> They pushed Ballad of the Fallen Angels to the last episode and made Julia save Spike by shooting Vicious.
> She then proceeds to shoot Spike through a window because he doesnt want to take over the Syndicate with her.
> Cue Green Bird.
> Julia keeps Vicious in a basement and is set up as the villain of season 2
> They/Them Ed is here boys :cryblood:
This can't even be called an adaption at this point, this is just character assassination after character assassination.
Isn't that bitch supposed to be Netshitz version of the ecoterrorists? How strong and empowered.
And in what is basically Netflix tradition at this point, they turned Faye into a dyke.

Let me guess, that's the genderbent doctor as well?

So it's that bad, right?
I'm gonna give you an example of how shit it is.

Remember when Vicious kills the Van in the anime? They are the leaders of the Syndicate who capture him around the end of Jupiter Jazz, deciding to execute him for disobeying orders. Later on, he's about to be killed in front of them when his bird shows up in the execution room and blows up. It turns out nigga had it all planned, he hid loyal men amonsgt the executioners and when the opportunity arises, they kill everyone, set him free and them he executes the Elders, taking their place on top of the Syndicate's hierarchy. Its a dope ass scene that gets you hyped for the series finale.

Well, the Netflix adaptation doesnt think thats good nor clever enough. Now he surrenders himself on purpose to some gangster nigga, who brings him before the Elders to be executed. Vicious has some chain thing around his mouth and cant speak, the Elders decide to execute him using his blade and Vicious is decapitated... Which was just as planned, cuz the one who died was nigga gangster using a hologram mask and Vicious is still alive in the room. The show then stops making any fucking sense at all, because his actual plan involved doing all that and then stealing back the sword that he didnt know was going to be used to execute him and then proceed to swordfight 16 masked guards, none of which have any guns of any kind.

He gets sliced up real bad, but still manages to kill everyone through the power of Last Jedi tier choreography. When he is about to kill the last Elder, its revealed that the dude is SURPRISE SUPRISE actually his father (played by John Noble). They have some gay ass dialogue about daddy's expectations and mommy's death, Vicious kills him with a slow stab through the heart then just stands there menacingly looking like a terrible Lucius Malfoy cosplayer.

Its every thing wrong with this fucking show in a single terrible scene. The unnecessary changes to the original anime, which also include expanding and "improving" everyone's backstory. The terrible acting. The stilted fighting choreography. The god awful dutch angle obssessed cinematography. The CW budget scenarios. Its dogshit.

I know the standards for child actors is low but this is just bad. Like worst than a fanfilm. Also looks like they're gonna butcher Vincent if this shitfest ever gets a season 2.
