This fucking teaser was so bad it made my soul cringe into the after life.

I hope to fuck these shitty quirky transitions are not a thing in the actual show, they make the actors look so awkward in every fucking set.

Seeing everyone in action just confirms what everyone thought of the casting choices to begin with: Theyre shit. John Cho is giving me View to Kill Roger Moore vibes. Whatever the fuck the Faye actress is called sucks shit and is nothing like Faye. Vicious sounds like a massive faggot. Black dude is the most inoffensive one.

Also terrible use of one of anime's best fucking tracks. This is shaping up to be a 1/10 trashfire and I can't wait to see it get cancelled S1 and all the bitching and moaning these people will be doing afterwards.

I also really hate how Faye appears to be the one who "has her shit together." Way to completely get the character wrong, Netflix.

The part in the teaser with Faye lecturing Spike and Jet about shooting a bounty in the face is all wrong. It should be Jet lecturing Spike and Faye about something like that instead.

Can't have the black man be competent my dude. It'd be literally rape and mansplaining for him to lecture STRONG INDEPENDENT FAYE or something.

She literally feels like a generic hardass character you’d see from a Marvel movie. Also there is a defense saying that she’s a different character from the show and while that’s true, then why call her Faye Valentine and not a different name.

Not every adaptation is like a comic book adaptation where you can change large parts of a characters personality and get away with it.

That’s a lot of likes for something that’s unintentionally trying to be cartoonish.

Just read the comments. There are so many retards in the youtube comment section that act like pseudo-intellectuals (read: Faggots) saying this show looks clever or creative despite how derivative it is.

I'm calling it now, this show will end up like Death Note Netflix where it will at first be divisive with faggots praising it and then become more hated as the faggots jump onto something else.

Left a negative comment on the video. It was deleted a few hours later. I didn't curse or anything; I actually gave legit criticism.

Netflix is totally monitoring/filtering comments.
As someone who actually is interested in the show, I hate when they do that shit.

I've been thinking and I feel the positive reception to this is because Cowboy Bebop is the only western live action anime adaptation (besides Speed Racer) that seems to actually embrace it's anime origins instead of trying to be completely different (i.e. Dragonball Evolution) or openly missing the point of the source material (Deathflix). It's really bad but I can see why people seem to like it especially with how there were extremely low expectations for this so embracing the source material is just exceeding expectations to some people.

Apparently we need to “CHILL OUT” for just simply disagreeing with the fact that people wanted a live action Cowboy Bebop adaptation on Netflix of all places
I hate this whole thing where people go "HOW DARE YOU FOR NOT HAVING THE SAME OPINION AS ME!", like there are some cases where things are overblown but people have a right to be mad like people have a right to enjoy this shit before it comes out.

That teaser was fucking awful. Random fan baiting with throwing soundtracks in randomly (Fucking Greenbird of all things as well), the acting is worst than fanfilms, the comedy that they attempt is the cringes shit I've ever suffered through.

It really shows how bad Cho is for the role as well, can he smile for one second or does he perpetually have to look like he's holding a massive shit in? Guy really shouldn't have gotten the role and his movement in that teaser really shows off why he isn't a good Spike.

Edit: The only thing I look forward to with this show is the inevitable storm of videos where people call out this show for the mess it is. Maybe E;R will return from the grave or MauLer will stream it on his EFAP podcast like he does that shitty Batwoman show.
