It's officially a St. Patrick's Day party at the White House ... Conor McGregor's arrived!!


The UFC superstar -- and arguably Ireland's most famous native -- hit up 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. on Monday morning to celebrate his nation's big day ... and Donald Trump and Co. welcomed him with open arms.


The 36-year-old fighter fielded some questions from media inside the building's press briefing room ... before he filmed a fun video that White House officials threw up on their X page.

Conor, of course, rocked green for the occasion ... pulling out a three-piece suit that paid some serious homage to the holiday. He buzzed his head and shaved his signature beard for the trip, too.

No images of McGregor and Trump have surfaced just yet ... but we're sure it'll be a love affair whenever they do come face-to-face -- as Trump just called him his favorite Irishman last week.



"He's got the best tattoos I've ever seen!" the president said.

Definitely feel the same way. I was drinking with a colleague of mine a few months ago and he went on a rant about how growing up in the inner city 10 years ago, McGregor was quite inspiring to him and people he knew because of where he came from and the success he got, but now he is an embarrassing stereotype and rapist who is the worst possible brand ambassador we could have. At the time it sounded a little awkward, but especially since the civil suit verdict has continued to come back to me.

Idk if he would be rapey if he never touched coke but there's tons of lads like him here who let the spic flour possess them like a sacrifice for meso-american demons. That poison twists you into something unrecognisable.

Is he popular with Irish-Americans? If so having him visit is maybe not the worst move for Trump, I guess. The Irish not especially liking McGregor is largely irrelevant to Trump as we aren't his voter base.

Though if Trump/Musk have any thoughts on helping McGregor run for Irish President, I hope talking to him today makes them rethink. Running McGregor would hurt any groundswell of moderates moving to right wing ideas. And the presidency is a very limited role in Ireland.

I don't even think this visit will be sending any particular message to Martin/Harris, as they know McGregor isn't popular, so this is an irritant rather than something that would genuinely worry them.

Thinking on it, I think Trump/Vance took a real carrot and stick approach with the Irish government. They were outwardly very nice to to Martin, joking about socks and in a moment I think most people missed, Trump really surprised Martin when he brought up Martin's father being a professional boxer, which showed Trump being both respectful and prepared in a way that Martin wouldn't have expected him to be. They immersed him in a day of celebration of Irish and Irish-American culture while Vance essentially dangled a future as America's junior partner in tech, in front of him. It was a delicious carrot cake of a visit. With the added bonus of potentially undermining the EU if Irish interests become more actively aligned with Trump's administration.

Then after a weekend of celebrating Ireland, they pulled in McGregor, gave him the fucking podium to talk about forced immigration destroying everything they'd spent the last few days celebrating. Held him up as a humiliation and a threat and now Elon is posting videos of guards beating back protestors, so immigrant men can be forced into small communities. It's a waving of a big stick, if Ireland goes against what America is envisioning. Unfortunately it's a shitty stick, as McGregor is an awful potential spokesman in Ireland.

I wonder if the fact that both he and Trump were found civilly liable in rape/sexual assault cases that were not criminally tried, along with claims of rape being made against so many men who are politically similar to Trump, is blinding Trump to how awful he is? McGregor is undeniably a violent thug and even if whatever happened between him Nikita Hand was consensual, he has committed verifiable assaults, like punching an old man in the face for no reason.

In defence of Trump, his case wasn't being found civilly liable of rape like Conor was. If I recall correctly - and if I'm wrong someone correct me, please - he was found guilty of defamation for calling a woman crazy when she accused him of rape, and as we've seen increasingly with the Alex Jones Sandy Hook and Tucker Carlson Polling Station Software cases, defamation lawsuits are quickly becoming a new tool to either financially bankrupt someone or silence them.
Not to say that there haven't been various sexual assault allegations about Trump, but technically I don't think he was found liable of rape in the same way Conor was.

I don't think there is any comparison between the accusation against Trump and that against McGregor or what they were found liable for. I just think that when accusations of sexual assault and rape are regularly made against men as a way of undermining them politically, it leads men who've been through that to give other accused men, the benefit of the doubt.

The thing with the Nikita Hand situation is that on the surface, as it's generally presented, it seems cut and dry. But once you read into it, there are holes all over both their stories and there is no way McGregor would have been convicted beyond reasonable doubt in a criminal trial. In the civil case, the tampon being removed by forceps seems to be the thing makes him 100% guilty. But it's really not outside the realm of possibility that a woman on a two day alcohol and cocaine bender would forget she had a tampon in, have sex and need it medically removed. On the other hand, McGregor has verifiably committed assaults on other people, and him raping a woman doesn't seem far-fetched either.

Saoirse Ronan would be my guess. Especially as she was, for the most part, raised in Ireland, so wouldn't be assumed to be Irish-American.

It pains me to say this, because I love her, but she is also an ANCHOR BABY. Her parents were overstaying their visa in NYC when she was born there. I guess she'd become a fullblood Irishwoman if birthright citizenship gets revoked...
