I'm a fat fuck so my favourite comfort food is a cheeseburger from Five Guys. I don't know what they do to the cheese to make the texture so much better than regular melted cheese. But it's the best. I've been trying really hard to diet and excersise, lost 3 stone so far. But I know if I was left to my own devices I'd throw it all away and pig out of two or three Five Guys burgers.

I worked at five guys. The cheese is just Velveeta / American cheese product. Put a slice on the patty two minutes before it's done cooking. Also they don't salt their patties, I highly recommend salting your own. Congrats on the weight loss.

Chicken and dumplings has always been a favorite of mine but a lot of places don't serve it or don't make it very good. The most reliably okay version it I've had is from Cracker Barrel, it just reminds me of it from my younger years. Favorite dish that my mother would make so it just hits those notes.

Phood: Cheeseburgers seem to be my go to more than Pizza or cheesesteaks, but I like the other two. It never ceases to annoy my father that I tend to prefer cheeseburgers over steak (though that can vary when preparation is considered)

It's never as good as the way grandpa made it but it feels good with a crispy roll to mop up the broth.
