It's not worth arguing or explaining that parable. He somehow thinks the Buddhist example is "far more clear" when both the Christian parable and the Buddhist example are crystal clear. It's another person being obtuse.

That post seems to have been made with a "here-and-now"/materialistic outlook since it seems to be very focused on the material conditions of the mortal world. To the rich man a donation of 100 coins is much less valuable since it's a pittance to him, so despite it being of greater benefit to the church by virtue of being a greater amount of wealth that doesn't necessarily translate into faith or piety since ultimately the material world is fleeting.
As opposed to the poor widow who gives 2 copper coins, those two coins may be of much less use to the church due to their lesser value among men, but because of the value those two coins have to her, the value of those two coins is great in the eyes of God. There's a reason Christianity teaches you to strive towards the Kingdom of Heaven and not the Kingdom of Man.

I don't think you know where you are, but the widow that gave everything was out of the faith in God that he would provide her with what she needed to accomplish his plan for her life. The money is only worth what it will buy, she had almost none to give, but God's love is free...

Regarding your point? Divorce isn't something Christians are supposed to do as the children are born as bastards from an adulterous relationship. That is before going into the absolute state of family courts.
