bahaha, 18 hours ago i made a post saying how it was surprising that no one had updated her instagram to say she was dead or put it in memorial mode. three hours later, a repost of her "I'm dead" tiktok was posted. and yet, still no memorial mode!

Thanks to the sudden boom in AI-assisted plagiarism, my department has to have eagle eyes for ChatGPT, which gives us this lovely output detector--feel free to play around with it at your leisure. For the record, most plagiarized work will show <95% fake as anyone with a working brain would attempt to stitch together non-generated work to throw off detection (ironically making it more obvious).

The first two paragraphs are irrefutably AI, although I don't know if she stitched together multiple ChatGPT results (it rarely answers the same way for the same prompt), or if she Spinbotted (converter that replaces words with synonyms, resulting in the brain-melting AI effect) the first sentence over and over again. I'm inclined to think the latter, since ChatGPT had much more competent results for the variety of obituary prompts I fed it. It's also clear that the lines second paragraph are stitched; the sentence, "We can’t wait till our next gathering with you, Chelsea, so that we may have even more fun and laughs together. We are counting down the days until our next get-together" follows immediately after "It is required upon each and every one of us to make the effort to take something from her life and use it as a model for our own."

The third paragraph shows 33.99%, and even I can't tell you what the fuck is happening there, but I'm sure I don't have to tell you that, "As she was a friend of mine, we always looked forward to seeing her, and we recall how much I looked forward to our moments together because of how much I looked forward to seeing her. I fully believe that, in an effort to score painkillers and circumvent the drug-seeker flag in her file, Chelsea used her sister's name and DOB at the ER at least a couple of times. Chelsea claimed a few months ago that when giving her info to a healthcare provider over the phone, they identified her as a different family member or some shit.

If you Google "Choices Minnesota death", the first link that comes up is a MS Word/PDF document released by the Minnesota Department of Health mortuary sciences division that lasts all out the rules when sometime dies in Minnesota. There are a few interesting things in there if someone else has time to pick through it but I thought this page was especially interesting for numerous reasons (pardon the shitty picture of my computer screen - I'm a low-tech ho):

~ This also contradicts the Caring Bridge post that said that the county was confused but "defending" Chelsea and the hospital wouldn't let them pay for their own autopsy. If you Google the Hennepin County medical examiner and look at the "Information for Families" PDF, it says that an autopsy is not always required, and that "in many cases of sudden or unexpected death, evidence of preexisting natural disease will make an autopsy unnecessary", despite "Lacey's" insistence it would be required for someone of Chelsea's age.

In short, no hospital is going to mishandle paperwork and buck protocol to cover up alleged mistreatment of a mentally unwell woman who has been kicked out of other hospitals before. It would take a large-scale, systematic conspiracy of people who all had it out for our sick little head-case to pull off something like that. It would have been less of a headache for the hospital to kick her out and make her die at home, which I'm curious why that didn't happen anyway. Give it up Chelsea. We're not stupid.

Since we now know that she's dead, I strongly suspect she killed herself.

None of her reported conditions were terminal.

What's the COD going to be?

A) her mother did actually flip and kill her after one shit too many.

B) she either strangled herself to death unintentionally with the brace or the brace developed sentience and helped her along.

C) she finally got painkillers but after time without she behaved like an addict and her body couldn't hack it (accidental OD).

D) she realised she'd fucked up in every way possible and ODed on purpose.

E) she munchied herself to death in some other fashion.
 
I mean, if she stayed in her bed not moving since January, she could've thrown a clot that they just couldn't fix. It is interesting though that her sister reports death following the administration of pain meds. Ugh, man I want to see her lab trends from that hospital. Super curious. Would Lacey be kind enough to screenshot her labs from mychart or whatever for this stay?

I'm calling it now. The sister wrote yesterday about how Chelsea's "death" has finally gotten her attention that she wanted. Going to say that something so extreme needed to be done to show the injustice (LILOLLLOLOL) she has faced. This is bonkers.
