Truthfully, no, at least not for people who were celebrating or have/are planning an attack like this. That's definitely not the majority of the non-right, but it's a huge segment of the far left Reddit/Bluesky types.

There's innumerable videos by these people, especially troons, online where they talk shit about their parents. 9/10 times the parent is loving but just misunderstands what the issue is, and that's good enough to be completely disowned because they are literally in online cults.

I don't think in a general sense (not sure about this specific person) saving these parents from familicide other than being the meal ticket for these deranged kids.

Once you understand this it all makes sense. They don't see their own politics as politics. They see it as moral positions and the absolute gold standard of humanity. They see it as set in stone and universal truths. It's not politics, it's called being a decent human being after all. And they mean it.

You see the “we won’t argue with people who deny your existence” or things like that. Note that the left rejects debate framing even of say discussion of black crime or the merits of trans identity in terms of implicitly exterminationist intention.

The more multi racial a society becomes the more this logic makes sense-identity is not up for discussion. It’s existential after all.

In which case-why do we have a democracy? Same with trans stuff-wherein fundamental questions of personhood and identity are considered off limits to scrutiny or even criticism.

Nick Fuentes is more like a symptom of it. There's actually a lot of "ordinary looking people" who are as radical as Nick (if not more) but are just not as obvious, or not as verbally intelligent. The Republicans completely fumbling the bag as usual and not providing a candidate to represent this. Vance for example isn't just unpopular with Nick's supporters, he's just unpopular in other ways, I've seen him get dragged by rightwingers just for being fat and ugly. The psuedo-Catholicism thing Vance does isn't believable for some (the religious types), and just outright a put-off for others (the libertarian types). I think the Republicans are going to fail after Trump, Vance is just not it.

The one thing I did notice is that most of them congregate around Rush Limbough and Pat Buchanan.

I have just watched the governor of Utah speak on the capture of the assassin. Like 90% of teachers are women, and women tend to be more liberal, so that alone means that most teachers are liberal. Add to the fact that teachers are college educated and that most rely on taxpayer dollars due to them teaching in a public school or charter school and you get one of the strongest Democrat-leaning voting blocs. As I'm a zoomer and I only graduated relatively recently, I do remember most of my teachers being outspoken libshits and I remember the somber mood in the classroom the day that Trump got elected for the first time. this is whats tripping me up, the vagueness of it. why mention some unnamed family member stating Kirk was spreading hate, but not what Tyler thought? i feel like this has confused a lot of people who read it as though Tyler said that. and why say they discussed "why they didnt like him and the viewpoints that he had" without elaborating further? its so fucking vague and lacking information.

i know a friend of his has been interviewed and stated he has left wing views, but that seems less reliable than what the family says. why is everything from the family so cryptic? just fucking say if he was right or left wing. hopefully this is 100% clarified in coming days.
