I think Hasan Piker is evil, not just for his opinions, but for his influence with those opinions. If this had happened to him, I would not celebrate. I might not be sad necessarily, but I'd react with shock and horror and disgust at the news. i think it's slowly becoming a bit of a replacement for "chud", which is falling out of favor as an insult due to how popular it has become with the people it was intended to demean.

I think you are giving far too much goodwill to that statement. I appreciate not wanting to think Hasan condoned the murder of thousands of people but I genuinely think that's what he meant. If he didn't mean it that way he could have easily said something similar to you, like "America's foreign policy has made enemies of a lot of people and it was inevitable that a retaliation was going to happen" Not " Lol, you had it coming and deserve it, bozo"
