Money Chandlers sued for debt megathread

There is no way to stop this Marxist Mastermind, undermining the megacorps and their creditors one defaulting payment at a time, while simultaneously subverting the state with his SSDI collection.
I know you're joking but, honestly, any company that is stupid enough to extend Chris credit deserves whatever they have coming for them. When an applicant has no work history, virtually no assets, a terrible credit rating, and has been sued for debt multiple times, what on earth makes that risk profile attractive to a credit card company/a bank?

Bad credit? No credit? The Hell with credit!

Chris definitely better learn how to start managing his money better, or he's going to be up shit's creek in the future.
Chris will be dead long before he pays off his debts, as far as I can see the main issue is housing after Barb dies since the house was remortgaged.

INB4 Chris gets away with little or no punishment because he's autistic and has a dying mom.
After 8 months of continuances, of course.

Bouncing off the person who said someone is going to adopt chris when barb dies and buying him whatever he wants. My question is if someone adopts him will they pay chris chans debt?

Knowing Chris's luck, I wouldn't be surprised if some tard who wants to become internet famous chooses to inherit Chris's debts and use their own paycheck to slowly pay it off as a way to get in Chris's good graces. Then they'll get Chris to star in unfunny videos with them, we'll laugh at them for making such awful content, and then they'll get doxed.

I doubt that'll happen, but people have donated upwards of a grand to Chris, so who knows.

The people who lend Chris money and the people who sue Chris are on different levels.

The bank/credit card company extends credit to morons like Chris, then rolls it along with other normal people in a larger package. Then a number of debt collector agencies acquire and resale these packages to one another, until one of them decides to get blood from an autistic stone like Chris.

Dude, I really hope you're trying to make a joke about this.

However, on the off-chance you're not, adults are responsible for their own debts. While parents can be held responsible for their childrens' debt (if that debt was incurred when the kids were under 18 ), children can never be held responsible for their parents' debt. If Chris ends up being held responsible for any of Barb's liabilities that will likely be due to her forcing him to co-sign something for her or if a lien gets placed on the house.

Regardless of what we have witnessed here on the Farms, the state of Virginia views Chris as an adult and, unless he is somehow declared legally incompetent, he cannot be adopted as a child by someone. Even if some white knight decides to take Chris in out of the kindness of their heart (or for a desire to become internet famous), Chris's debt would not transfer to them.

Eh... The credit card companies have definitely made more off of Chris than he's cost them, through interest and interchange fees. He probably won't ever be approved for any kind of unsecured loan ever again, but they've definitely made money off of him.

How much does he actually owe now, altogether? Does anyone know, even a guesstimate? I know Chris doesn't know.

I don't think this will happen per se, but I'm already placing my one man bet on if Chris loses the house after Barb passes he'll show up on the doorsteps of either the troons or the slightly less autistic kids(@Copitz). This is why you don't tell Chris where you live and befriend him.
