He's adding to that by wearing the clothes incorrectly. The rightmost guy in the pic has the full 3-piece suit (jacket, waistcoat & trousers) which is one step below a morning suit or tuxedo. It's normal to mix a suit jacket with whatever else as a 2-piece (jacket & trousers) is fairly casual nowadays. Throw in the waistcoat and the contrast makes it look like you ran out of clean trousers or forgot how to dress yourself.

Let me see if I have this right: Reform didn't hate brown people enough and weren't LARPy enough for Carl, so now he's clinging to Restore and pushing Rupert-senpai for PM. Something about this whole Restore thing is strongly reminiscent of both Liberalist era and UKIP candidate era Carl. The fart huffing will resume at full force now, I have a feeling this will not go the way he's anticipating and no amount of coping on his podcast will change that.

I think it's because of the whole "what is english vs what is british?" issue. Where people feel like there is a difference between the ethnic identity (i.e. English) and the cultural identity (i.e. British). So I assume Carl would be able to understand if Mahmood or those youths described themselves as British, but feels considering them english is incorrect or is diluting the "ethnic identity". It's like that one Swedish advert a few years ago where people got mad because that one black, african kid was called "swedish". Since most people see 'swedish' as an ethnic identity than just a national/cultural one.

To flip it on it's head, imagine if Carl or any of these english people moved to India or Pakistan or any of the middle eastern countries these people/parents of these people came from. While they may get citizenship and adhere to the national identity of the country, Hell, I'd go a step further and argue that after 20 years of street shitting/fucking their sisters/oppressing women, they might even be considered culturally Indian/Pakistani/Middle-Easterner. I just highly doubt it would be easy to consider them Indian/Pakistani/Middle-Eastern. Because they'd still be seen as ethnically "english".

At least, that is how I am interpreting it. For all I know, Carl may just be fucking retarded and only be considering from an ethnic standpoint rather than any sorta cultural one. Then again, current UK is getting ass-fucked, because it seems to be unable to protect its own general culture, like rule of law and shit.

Carl is viewing the English ethnic identity as the same thing as the English civic identity. Remember months ago when he said that only those of the English background were capable of democratic governance?

Carl is not willing to entertain the necessary conversation on the question of ethnic and civic identity of the English. He is firmly of the opinion that England has always been, is, and will be for one ethnic identity. While I think it’s ridiculous given that the English are the result of multiple ethnic/cultural groups (Anglos, Saxons, Jutes, Celts, Norse, etc) and Britain is government made of the various cultural groups on the isles, ethnocentrism is a stance one can take.

However, Carl also comes across as arrogant and dogmatic in his stance. There is a visceral hatred in his voice when he describes someone like Mahmood by their ethnicity. It positions his argument into one of nastiness and spite, undoubtedly off-putting to the average Englishman that wants to decrease immigration. Can’t wait to see how this impacts Restore.

The fact that the children of immigrants can readily adapt and identify with the birthplace rather than their ancestry and be accepted enough to get executive level positions in government is a goddamn success story. I can’t think of another country that has such effective assimilation.

I don't take this shit seriously. I did one of those DNA mouth swab things. Both sides of families descended Irish convicts who got the boot for rebelling in 1803. Throw in a bit of English across the subsequent generations. One Grandmother got obsessed with genealogy, so records gong back a long way. Fully expect a fucking Celt/English Anglo mix. DNA turns out 65% Scandinavian, 20% German, with only 15% being from the British Isles.

Now it could be an excuse for me to larp as a fucking Viking, but my take away was there was a lot of rape and cuckholdry concerning my great times (x) grandmas, because nowhere in the records in either Britain or Australia does it mention anyone fucking a Nord or a Kraut. If anyone is a pure Scot or a pure something when it comes to the British Isles then they are an extremely rare bird.

Carl clings to this fucking puerile idea of English supremacy. He buys heavily into this myth of the English being exceptional due to genetics and not culture, inventing a myth about a pure genetic Englishman. Instead of taking the fact 3rd generation Pakis see themselves as English and not Pakis as an example of the strength and dominance of the culture he is a part of he instead crashes out. The reason for that is the myth of the "genetic" Englishman is the only bit of being exceptional Carl can muster for himself, and even then it has to do with who sprogged in who and nothing to do with what he himself (or those around him) have done or achieved.

He's claiming glory by proxy via where his forebears ejaculated. He truly should have stayed on his level in Swindon.

This is childish as fuck. To put this into perspective, I once met a China born European White guy (not one of China's White minorities) who says he identifies as Chinese. It was unusual but okay, that's fine. He spoke the language perfectly, better than me which wasn't surprising. Some other people didn't buy it though and I told them to stop being clowns.
