In the Greater Toronto Area there used to be visible Chinese, Korean, Eastern European, and Filipino communities. It's basically all Indian and Moslem now. It will only get worse.

Koreans are actively leaving Canada, this I know for a fact, many of my Korean friends have left. Korea surpassed Canada in quality of life.

Poland has also surpassed Canada in quality of life, so don't expect the Polish to move here.

The only Eastern Europeans we get nowadays are Ukrainians fleeing war.

The drop in Filipino migrants is attributed to the Philippines becoming a middle-income country this year.

These aren't serious discussions we're having, Ottawa only looks at the numbers and filling quotas.
Also, why would skilled Canadians stay in Canada when they can make 2-5X in the US with lower COL.

As for Durando, the judge reported that he’s been thriving while awaiting the outcome of his legal proceedings.

After his arrest, Durando was released to a residential treatment centre as part of his bail conditions. He breached those by consuming marijuana, admitted to it and was back in custody by January 2024, only to be released to a new residential treatment centre that met “his needs or expectations” that May.

10/10 Canada, glad that guy "greatly turned his life around" in under two years (while remanded and on trial, nothing of which would encourage good behavior of course) after this woman has permanent lifelong trauma after being house invaded and brutally beaten nearly to death in the room next to her children

Even then, I've actually heard from Ukrainian friends that some Ukrainians are actually going back or trying their luck with another western country
The example I always post is how bad Reddit was sucking their dick when the war started/actual Redditors marching off to the border etc, and then like a month later there was articles from the UK with Ukrainian women being absolutely disgusted (and publicly verbalizing) being completely surrounded by unwashed rape apes anywhere they were dropped in Europe. And a lot of them were very open about it because not only were they completely shocked to suddenly be in a third world shithole worst than an active warzone, they weren't used to how they had to tiptoe around the feelings of the mongoloids/blue hairs. The redditors freaked out and were baffled by this trying to make all sorts of excuses because they had already added Ukrainians to the rainbow flag. It was hilarious

Regardless of the obvious advantages to having a career in the states, the majority of Gen Z Canadians I've talked to refuse to move to the states out of fear of crime, (mass shootings, robberies, assaults, etc.) or they believe that healthcare in the U.S simply doesn't compare to the great (lol) healthcare here in Canada. The best is when they admit everything is better in the states (CoL, QoL, freedoms, and even sometimes healthcare) the brain-worm tells them that it's all bad because of violent crime in inner cities, or nigger infested states. They tend to also jump through hoops to avoid addressing the crime-black population correlations. Ultimately I think it combines the ultra-nationalistic, arrogant mindset it seems the majority of Canadians have, with general media repeated hysteria

Reminder that for the Canada Pension Plan, The maximum monthly Canada Pension Plan (CPP) retirement pension for new beneficiaries starting at age 65 is $1,507.65 as of January 2026. The average monthly payment for new beneficiaries is $925.35. The majority of boomers will have retired by the end of 2027.

Now I don’t know about you but I strongly suspect that isn’t a sustainable amount for anyone, even boomers, unless they dramatically reduce their standard of living. Eventually they might start doing the math and realize that living in Canada actually sucks now and might even realize that their voting choices led to this. Sure they might have nice stuff but that stuff will slowly fall apart over the next few years, and they can no longer afford to replace it and will have to downsize and get shittier stuff.

You say this like boomers are human, instead of reptile-brained parasites with the long-term thinking horizons of niggers and the greed of Jews.

But I am saying this while factoring in boomers being like that. When they realize that their savings are vanishing very quickly, or worst case when they realize that all their savings are gone, they will have no choice but to sit down and do the math and realize they just don’t have enough money because everything is so expensive. They might even realize “oh, all this time it was not the avocado toast”

I bet they all move to Florida, I wouldn't be surprised if many of them live the snowbird life. I imagine upon realizing home #1 is fucked they'll just move down and ruin somewhere warmer.

I’m curious about how many snowbirds currently vote for the Liberals and NDP because I don’t know how isolated those communities are from the rest of America.

I'm actually Chinese-Canadian, and according to my parents who have worked here the last decade, Canada is a lot worse than it was even before COVID. According to what they've heard from co-workers with experience working outside Canada, even other western countries known for having a bad economy, like Germany or UK are not only better, but a lot better than Canada at the very least for earning money...that should speak for itself.
Basically, imagine if the UK was *just* London, and nothing else. Thats how I'd explain Canada, though also add on that Canada also has the massive self-inflicted trade war with the US, and is far more liberal than London.

Canada is basically three cities, with Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary (not including Quebec in here). Every other city and all towns feed into these major cities like spiderwebs draining into some larger tarantula's lair- now filled to the brim with Indians, third worldists, etc.

You could pick other cities like Winnipeg to show replication of this phenomena at a smaller scale, but thats basically how Canada operates-

which is where we get to the problem with Canada- everything is too centralized because the country was literally built with resource extraction in mind, and when the center rots- theres nowhere to escape to.

The Yookay, for all intents and purposes- is not just London. Towns may be dying, but the country itself does have places you can chill, try to start a life, other cultural hubs, etc. You can leave the big city to have a quiet life elsewhere (arguably). You really can't within Canada, because everything is within 100km of these big hubs and basically is oriented around servicing them. The Yookay does have a lot of major problems, but at least there are other cities and cultural hubs across the landscape. Sure, places like Manchester are hollowed out, Wales can be hollowed out, Scotland can be sparse, Northern Ireland may have its own issues, etc-

but the country is actually, well- a country. Even the small towns have their own local cultures and are arguably more independent from London.

Better country? The US. You're tired of Commiefornia? You can start a life in Denver, in Wyoming, in Florida, New Orleans, Texas, Burlington NH- wherever you want. Too many Indians in New York? Who cares. Too many Indians in Toronto? Literally everyone in Ontario's problem now because all cities service Toronto in the province.

If we get to Australia, it has similar issues to Canada- but at least its warmer and moving to the outback is a tolerable enough option. In Canada, its notoriously difficult to move further and further north, sans resources. Not a good country to be a bogan or a hobo in when you're finally exiled from Sydney, if your nuts are freezing off.

Explains why there is no idea of Canada. The irony is the US has one of the strongest Ideas of countries.

That's strange, I thought Gen Z was all about the diversity and "live and let live", you're telling me even they don't want to live around blacks? Huh

That doesn’t mean go out of your way to be a Dick to Pajeets. Just to avoid them as much as possible
Only in the sense of going out of your way for confrontation, that changes if you must interact. In that case you do not put up with the Jeet. If you talk to the Jeet you talk from a position of authority. You do not use polite language; if the Jeet has a question you refuse it outright and berate the Jeet for even deigning to ask such a thing. You showcase your utter disdain for them via body language and tone of voice at every opportunity, for they are servants at best and will be performing for their master.

Embracing that mindset has helped tremendously dealing with the various flavour of streetshitter permeating my team and workplace org.

For me at least it's from inability to break in. Even with Trump back in the Oval Office you're not finding many companies willing to sponsor a white guy, and doubly so after the latest visa changes. It's easier for me (in my current role) to simply work remotely for an American company and have a measure of job security by working for a pay cheque that, while making ~50k USD less than the comparable American in the role, is already far in advance of equivalent positions within Canada.

Still have my nose out because the US is where the jobs are at, but not holding out much optimism for the immediate future.

I find myself losing it more and more when I am out and about. My tolerance does not include people that are averse to showering or using deodorant or those that do not honor lines when pumping gas.

I try to be a dick to all the jeet service workers I encounter, but their brain is absolute mush. They never understand my clever and snarky remarks!

A few months ago an old homeless Italian guy was loitering at the local fried chicken joint. The Jeet TFWs wanted him gone. When he approached me I bought him a full meal out of spite. Fuck them.

Silicon Valley used to be the same way back before the 2000's. Before the mass flood of chinks and jeets, it had fairly well distributed immigration demographics from across the world. Now it's just chinks, jeets, and soy-faced americans hoping to make it big.

It's just a safety net and one that is way too generous and unsustainable. It's a ponzi scheme and I could not have less sympathy for boomers whining about the payout.
it is actually enough if you somehow managed to have no savings and investments by retirement. If you are that poor and stupid, you can spend your retirement renting a single room in the middle of nowhere and eating rice and beans for the last 15 years of your life, which is infinitely better to being old and hungry on the street, as you would be in any other time in history without money or a family willing and able to take care of you.

It's enough to keep poor dumb old people from dying in the cold. Reducing your standard of living in retirement should be obvious to anyone who isn't so rich they have more money than they know what to do with.

See, there's your problem. Boomers expect taxpayer funded retirement, healthcare, and a quality of life that exceeds what they experienced while working. They pull this shit anywhere with democratic elections and old age welfare. Thanks to demographic collapse, they usually succeed at outvoting the interests of younger demographics.
