Canada Federal election 2021

that’s likely going to be Canada’s face tomorrow morning no matter who wins

Well, I voted for the People's Party candidate in my riding. I have nothing else to say at this time, except to note that every single other person at the polling place wore a mask, including when lined up outside. So, it doesn't look good for Maxime in the Vancouver area. Not that the PPC was ever going to win any seats here, but still.

Well enough is in from the Maritimes to say the Libs aren't going to like the final results overall. Cons are up 4 seats and have grown their vote total, the PPC (no matter how much CBC tries to smugly chuckle) are having a negligible impact. Libs are still best odds to win, but there are some warning signs, especially how that collapsing Green vote isn't translating into Liberal gains.

I'm in Creston and voted PPC. Hope we can at least make a wedge in BC.

Also cucks who think "PPC IS TOO FAR JUST VOTE CONS" are what got us into this mess. You vote con you're voting for Trudeau lite and I hope you eat fucking rocks for it.

"Leading" doesn't mean anything....
Stuff like up by 12 with 4% of polls reporting, I mean come on.

Última edición:
CBC especially is getting tiring with treating leading as the actual outcome. Oh wow, Libs ahead with a few riding stations in, obviously they're on track for a potential majority! Fuck off please.

Also I'm finding it really funny how the media are refusing to call Coast of Bays-Central Notre Dame in Newfoundland for the Cons with 243/246 stations reporting, it's as though they cannot accept some Newfies don't like being treated like shit :story:

Honestly we're fucked either way, and considering that most Canadian Elections the vote West of Ontario tends not to matter worth a shit (thanks majority of the population living the the Ontario panhandle or being French, and Trudeau Sr being a fuckup so we can't change shit), my guess is the PC's are winning. Justin burned a lot of good will over the years, and there's more party's on the left than there are on the right (and the PC's might as well be Center-Left at this point)

The meme about the PPC splitting the vote means fuck all when every other party in our country is left leaning, but unfortunately all most people know about the PPC is "French Man gets pissy about getting passed up for PC leadership, founds own party with blackjack and hookers"...

No real surprise the Libs persevere, yet not a stretch that they could lose just enough that they'd need both BQ and NDP support to stay in power. Probably unlikely now, but eh I'm gonna dream.

The real fun now, however, is guessing what happens with O'Toole. Adding seats isn't enough, he needed a win considering how left he trended. Full bets on the knives being eagerly sharpened.
