Maybe I'm wrong, but I think we're all of the opinion that when Wu says she's been working 18 hour days meeting with unnamed policy experts, making calls, going to events in district 8, etc,... that's all a pack of lies, right? It never occurred to me before, but is the whole "backchannel" thing more of the same? Invisible work that Wu claims she's doing to excuse the fact that she never visibly does anything.

I still wonder how many of these lies Frank is subjected to. Does she tell him she's working really hard at politicking when actually she sits at home playing Tekken? How much of this does he actually believe, versus just rolling his eyes and saying "yes dear, very good dear"? There are some lies like the one about how quickly they got engaged that she tells that Frank obviously knows aren't true, but he doesn't stop her from telling them.

Wu does or at least did have backchannels at one point. He did manage to bury unfavorable stuff in Google rankings for awhile and his influence with Twitter and Reddit is well documented. However, most of his connections seem to be gone or he burned them out.

Thanks for the mansplaining again John, New York Times will be calling you any day now.

This makes perfect sense, given the 1,00+ gun safety classes in this country involve taking your guns away, compiling a government database of gun owners and collecting lobby money encouraging limiting legislation.

Marketing major John. Yet another phantom.

PLACE YOUR BETS:

*The repaint comes out terrible. The Audi is never brought up again and mentioned only in passing when Frank eats the depreciation on a trade-in for a Porsche Cayman for Brianna to ruin. Brianna goes on a twitter rant about how only true engineers can appreciate the mid-engined performance of a Cayman and its something the elitists in congress will never understand.

*The repaint comes out terrible. Frank pays to have it professionally done. Brianna goes on a twitter rant about how, as your congresswoman, she'll spearhead a bill to open free car painting booths for citizens because the elitists in congress don't understand what its like for the average person to restore a classic racing car like the Audi TT.

*Fucks up the paint, gets it fixed at a place, tales credit for the new professional paint job on Twitter. It's not like the company is gonna call her out or anything.

Probably gets the paint and finish redone professionally but still mainsplains on how it's done and how as an engineer...
OR he ignores his failure and just tweets recycled pictures of the car from now on.

I really don't get the holder of the wallet... Frank.

He already over paid for this car add in the time in the shop and all the other crap Johnny has dumped in, this car is nothing but a broken down, useless money pit.

I guess the argument could be made that that is the story of his marriage to John.

John, you care about exactly one thing: yourself.

As dramatic as mass shootings are, they still represent an infinitesimal fraction of the violence you're likely to face. You're vastly more likely to be killed one on one, probably by someone you know, and second to that, by someone committing an ordinary violent crime.

Trump could easily buy Twitter and at worse ban it in the United States if he was pissed about it enough. It wouldn't be hard either since Twitter does nothing to stop terrorists from using it to recruit people and that would be his excuse. Then what John? You're nothing without Twitter.

If Trump bought Twitter, Johnny would screech about boycotting Twitter....then start tweeting 5 minutes later and pretend like he never boycotted the site.
