Let's be stupid for a minute and take John at his word, that he truly has some genetic defect that makes it so he doesn't respond to testosterone properly. As much as he likes to pretend otherwise, this doesn't change anything about the fact that he is a man.
Some people are born with an abnormal number of sex chromosomes, and are thus considered intersex. Despite typically having genitalia that don't form properly into either male or female, they still tend more towards one side than the other. I don't remember all the combos, but generally speaking, as long as you have a single Y chromosome, you're going to lean male. Before the modern trend to shoehorn intersex people into the gay alphabet acronym (at the behest of trannies that use them as a cudgel for why they should be allowed in women's bathrooms), they would typically resort to identifying as the sex they most closely resemble. These are the
only people that can lay a claim to having a genetic reason to not be fully male or female because their genetic makeup is not, strictly speaking, one or the other.
Now, is it
possible for someone to be born less receptive to their body's natural hormones? I suppose, though I doubt it's that common, and I have no idea if there have even been studies on what genes might be responsible for that. Even if they have been picked out, I also doubt that a basic bitch 23andMe genetic test would be able to confirm such a defect. And even if it could, that still doesn't change the fact that John Walker Flynt is a
man. XY chromosomes all the way down, you don't get more manly than that.
And furthermore, his insistence that he belongs to some mythical tranny phenotype because of this is laughable. He continues to state that true trannies like himself are tall, beautiful, skinny, effeminate waifs that obviously should have been born women, when anyone can look at old photos of John and see that he not only just looks like any other man (with autism), but also a man that has obviously been fat multiple times over the years. I'm no geneticist, but I feel like if your body was not properly responding to testosterone, then it wouldn't make you look like a man.
Part of me wonders if his constant crashouts are because a part of him is realizing that he didn't actually improve his life at all by trooning out. Sure, he's got a rich husband to pay for whatever he wants, and he can pretend to be any number of super cool careers, but he doesn't really have any accomplishments to his name. Everything he claims to have done has really been the efforts of others. And now that people are finally able to call him a man to his face without getting banned for it, a part of him may slowly be realizing that even his signature claim of being a true and honest woman isn't actually true. But John has done nothing but live in denial for his entire life, so he lashes out at everyone for daring to tell him the truth, running back to the plastic surgeon every chance he gets so he can finally become the woman of his dreams that nobody will be able to deny. It's sunk cost fallacy to the extreme. I'd feel sorry if John weren't such a piece of shit.
