I'm convinced at this point that self styled progressives will kowtow and bend over backwards to support Islam just because they think republicans don't like them and they want to be contrary. What other conclusion can one possibly draw from supporting a doctrine that stands in stark opposition to practically everything an American leftist claims to want? At least liberal Christians can handwave away most of the misogynistic or anti-gay sentiments as they are largely confined to the old testament.

Tortured and murdered gays, reduced women to chattel, murdered innocent browns and whites, etc.

Liberalism is mental disease, they currently have a raging boner for anyone with a drop of melanin in their skin and will overlook fascism, bigotry, misogyny, etc.
 
Funny thing is Wu could have gotten away with the tweet by just saying "radical Islam has issues with women" and been fine. I mean you can cite the fact that ISIS uses women as sex slaves. The Taliban treated them worse than we treat our pets. It actually might have helped her in the campaign. But she's so scared to piss off a few harpies on Twitter and lose social justice cred that she deleted it and spent a day working out the mental gymnastics of it instead.

I mean if your campaign is centered around getting women in tech, I'm sure you can get away with bashing the people that throw acid on girls for daring to read a book.

You can't use the word "Islam" when dealing with those attacks, even if you say its only the extremists. It would mean categorizing them with all other muslims, which is not approved by the PC community.

The only way Flynt/Wu could've gotten away was, as usual, with silence. A technique he is not familiar with, for our amusement.

The Taliban and other goat fuckers also regularly used young boys as sex slaves, while US military were instructed not to report on it and turn a blind eye, but that's not as important in the feminism narrative.
 
The average man doesn't give a flying fuck about this because he's too busy WORKING.
