I generally don't give a shit about Brianna; she seems to me like one of those flash-in-the-pan political celebrities known more for controversy than having anything particularly insightful or even generically interesting to say. And it looks like her 15 minutes of fame are almost up.

However, the more I hear about Revolution 60 the more I become interested in her. Every tweet of hers and most of the posts on this thread indicates that it's going to be a Sonichu-level disaster. Well, certainly not as artistically incompetent as Sonichu, but she's giving off the same vibes that Chris did after people started criticizing and then fucking with his comic. Sonichu was never really about the epic-level fail of the actual craft so much as, like with most vanity projects, Chris's narcissistic overreaction. Judging by Brianna's barely-restrained hissy fits, Rev60 is shaping up to be the Daikatana/Blood and Metal/Battlefield Earth of our generation and I for one am salivating with anticipation.

You're missing a few key points of why people are ragging on it:
--They blew a TON of money on this. There are plenty of RPGMaker games with worse graphics, but we're not ragging on them because they're not spending $200k and hiring teams of people to code it over the span of years.
--Wubert is constantly bragging about how revolutionary certain aspects of the game are when they're clearly lifted from other titles (the dialog mechanics are from Mass Effect, for one)
--R60 is supposed to be some empowering anti-game that subverts problematic representations of women but instead just does it harder than actual "dudebro" games and it's really obviously because of Wubert, whose life mission is to emulate stereotypes of women
--Wubert whines non-stop about how games should be story-driven but R60's plot is an afterthought that you have to purchase, for the same price as the actual game

True, I'd not considered the crazy orgy of money that went in to this thing. A stand-alone thing, the game isn't shit. Considering Wu and the way this game was presented, it's like being promised the best ever wedding cake, and instead of we have an elderly man with his wang in a hotdog roll. The bride and groom are pretty upset. This guy, with a thousand-yard-stare, is shambling towards them, with his wang/roll twitching.

it is a disasters, the game is hated in the Appstore, and the Steam fiasgo was a proof that she cant do shit, when the game is released in "HD" in steam you are going to see a very angry tranny, you dont simply insult gamers and then come to their turf asking for money

To read her "tirade on emotion and shaders" or whatever that was, I gotta ask: Did she went Homer or something? Really, as far as emotion goes and all, not every story Final Fantasy has had went well with all fans. Even then, gameplay itself is the canvas that deserves the strokes. Story and graphics are more of the coloring and setting the canvas holds and without those gameplay strokes, the story may not make up much for the game itself (really, story is better for a book if the gameplay is pure crap).
