I don't really know anything about Frank's writing (never read a word of it) but his drawn art seems to be at the very least good. I don't know if it's really great but I like it well enough. He is also a semi-well known published sci-fi writer.

He holds a PhD in bacterial genetics from an actual university and supposedly works in patenting or some such for a pharmaceutical company and was recently made some sort of CFO i believe of something(?).

I mean he's actually... you know... made something out of himself and could do much better.

And then "Briannatron" happened. Brianna Wu, aka the man formerly knows as Flynt.
  1. A two-time college drop out "engineer" with no degreee (which makes me froth at the mouth),
  2. who got a handout from their parents to start an animation studio, which he sank,
  3. was supposedly "homeless" and "lucky to SURVIVE!" (yeah, k),
  4. is a dog killer,
  5. had to be "on the run" from the evil-doers that wanted to "Boo Doo People Murder People" but was back at home all the time,
  6. head of development for a studio that has nothing to its name and
  7. has maybe one other employee left,
  8. and is a pathological liar.
I'm sure there are more points to be added but I can't be fucking bothered right now.

None of this makes any sense to me.

I bet if you can find Frank somewhere alone with no Wu in sight he'd be a pretty normal dude and you would never think that the person he's wanting to live with is a disturbed almost 40 twitter celebrity that turns everything they touch to diarrhea.

I'm going to guess it was at some kind of sci-fi/comic convention. It had to be something where Frank had an appearance of influence or I imagine Wu would have never bothered with him initially. I don't want to say they aren't in love because Brianna does seem different around him, like she's hanging out with someone she genuinely gets along with. I think they're two fucked up people that can be in a relationship as long as Frank continues to keep shoveling his money into her projects and she doesn't fuck with his love of science fiction stuff.

I believe Frank met his last wife at a convention. Frank seems to really rely on his cred in that specific sci-fi scene to get laid.

It is kind of a shame for the poor suffering bastard, isn't it? I mean, not that I believe it for a second, but she did say they spent the last couple of years eating rice and peas because all their money was going towards making R60. In that time, somehow, Brianna still managed to spend tens of thousands of dollars on video games. Video games she barely touches. Hundreds of them. Seriously, like she doesn't even play the games she's supposedly crazy about like Heavy Rain, never completed it.

Then she tells us that Frank doesn't like games and doesn't play them. It's painful even to think about.

It's got to be some kind of kink thing, right? I mean, when they met BriBri was still penis bearing. Maybe this is a fulfilment of Frank's Thai ladyboy dream and he'll spend any amount of money to keep it going.

That honestly wouldn't surprise me one bit. Bri's been harping on trans issues quite a bit lately, to the point where it's kinda absurd that she's pretending she's "stealth." It's all over the internet and she truly doesn't pass, at all, she just stays within circles that wouldn't ever call an obvious male in a dress a "he." And it's her final LOOK AT ME card, right when she needs it. If she's smart, she'll release the Rev60 port immediately after.

My theory re: Frank is that he's one of those nerd guys who believes true love means finding a woman that is equally gleeful about his nerd shit. Brianna exploits this accordingly. I flip-flop on whether or not he's got a tranny fetish; on one hand, he's certainly got the resources to find somebody more or less to his tastes and shouldn't have to stoop to Brianna unless that was what his pervert heart actually wanted. On the other hand, tranny chasers usually want a chick with a dick, not a chick with a tunnel of scar tissue. That isn't ironclad though. Still, with the sci-fi nerd angle, I could see him feeling like women who are enthusiastic about his particular niche of the hobby are very very scarce and being willing to settle for an enthusiastic facsimile.

It's a bit more than that.

Frank was openly abusive towards his previous spouse and she gave very clear accounts of how he tried to undermine her writing career; all evidence is that he essentially bullied her out of sci-fi, and tried very hard to control her. When years later, she tried to get back into the Sci-Fi scene after she'd finally recovered from the insanity he'd exposed her to, Frank wrote his own mini-ZoePost in which he complained about her being the worst human being alive whilst inadvertently revealing his reason (her starting to write again).

Months later, one of her friends retweets Frank's shit, leading to her learning what Frank was accusing her of; she was pissed. She went and she rebuked it, and elaborating how she'd been abused, citing specific examples where Frank's abuse claims were vague and nebulous. Frank makes the mistake of responding to it whilst denying none of the allegations and, once more, inadvertently tipping his hand.

TL;DR: Frank was abusive because he didn't want his wife overshadowing him in the Sci-Fi community when she was arguably more talented,

Donald Trump's support is the result of people rubber banding back from the crazy SJWs. People are starting to see how insane the really liberal people are, and they are overcorrecting and going hard conservative in an attempt to stamp out the crazies before they get too solid of a foothold.
 
So at what point during her transgender panel at GaymerX will Brianna discuss what it was like to deadname a transgendered person and shame them for writing about women's issues?

EDIT: Also, just looking at some of those "Bosses of Honor" and other speakers. Holy shit LGBT community, we've really let the standards fall.

How can she seriously be saying she's going to ship the game this year? She's just fucked off to a conference for a few days, by the time she gets back it'll be a week until Christmas, so a couple more days when it's guaranteed there'll be no work done. She hasn't even named a date yet.

She's got to do a final build, send it out to whatever loyal testers she has who'll suffer through her shit for her, draft PR stuff, organize and send review code out to journalists, fix last minute bugs from the final round of testing, upload the 1.0 build to whichever stores she's selling on, then release.

Unless her idea of releasing the thing is just dumping it on steam over the Christmas holidays and forgetting about it, it's impossible. Has she really given up all hope that she'll make any money from R60 at all? If so, surely the last year of rearranging the deckchairs on the titanic was wanton extravagance.
