John Flynt sure has a knack for self-description.

There's some stuff before this outlining what project creators must do in order to say they've fulfilled their obligations to the best of their ability if they are unable to complete the project, but that's the most relevant part. They leave it up to the backers to do actually anything and just provide the platform. Wu's actually broken these conditions, but it's the backers that have to do something about it and it seems like they just don't care. The Rev60 facebook and subreddits are dead, and only one person has commented on the Kickstarter page recently, with no reply yet.

While writing this I actually bothered to check the reward tiers for the first time in a while, and holy shit. The estimated date was August 2014, with the mac release a month later. As perks they offer a 'digital strategy guide' for the combat, and 20 people are owed t-shirts. Wu's also promised special ingame items to help people "get the ending they want", some kind of weapons pack and there's also supposed to be a couple of posters. Wu hasn't mentioned any of this in any recent updates and probably doesn't even remember they're supposed to exist. If Wu's the main programmer now she might not even be capable of delivering the in-game stuff, since from what we've heard she barely coded anything.

You don't generally get lawyer fees in a breach of contract lawsuit, which keeps the court system from having to deal with a flood of bullshit lawsuits about next to nothing where nobody but the lawyers get paid (that's what class actions are for).

John is an idiot and is crazy. Obviously he was bullied as a child and in college, and since he's lived his life segregated amidst other comfortable white people, the vast majority of the bullying came from white dudes. That must have sucked and we all should feel sorry for him for that.

However, John, being a crazy idiot, foolishly believes that by constantly being in hate mode towards "white men" (a category he chopped off his dick and married an Asian American to try and get out of), somehow he'll "show those bullies" and "win".

He is, of course, a white male bully himself, which negates any moral standing he thinks he has by being a "victim". Naturally, he is oblivious to this fact and/or rationalizes that it's OK for him to act that way, because he's an oppressed Asian female tranny or something, plus those dang dirty trolls etc etc.

People that follow him tend to have similar messed-up mindsets, so no one actually challenges him to consider the self-destructive, delusional, toxic futility of his behavior.
