Correct. Assuming Wu has been running this CPU almost all the time (as in, never shut it off, had go to sleep mode on occasion at best) and consistently ran it at high load but not at a danger level, that would not be a problem since it was within the heat tolerances of the processor/motherboard, which are made of silicon for the most part, which can withstand high temperatures. Given what we know of Wu's callous disregard for shit that breaks and constant desire to be net connected, I'll bet the power bill must be obscene at the Wu household due all the computers Wu has plugged in and how often they are left on.

However, assuming there is a reasonable level of cooling and the heatsinks on the PC haven't gone to pot, then they could most definitely chug away for a few years without any noticeable wear and tear.

Rape is a very hard crime to prove for many, often sad reasons. Without videotape of the crime, the next best evidence would be the physical evidence (the DNA of the perp), and the worst evidence is the actual account of the event. If the crime is not witnessed by third parties or recorded and the physical evidence is destroyed (can even be done by the victim themselves in an attempt to literally wash away the experience due to shame/fear/upset/etc.), it boils down to hearsay, which involves trying to get an admission of the crime out of the accused in open court, and if they don't confess and the defense manages to muddy the water enough, the rapist (assuming they are guilty) could go free even if their own story is weak as long as they manage to sow enough doubt and give the jury very little to pin them down as guilty for.

Worse, if the physical evidence is tainted in any way, it has to be thrown out since tainted evidence (gathered improperly so other DNA mixes with it or is not properly cited in a proper chain of evidence to prevent tampering) can not be admitted, even if it would prove the case, and recordings can be tossed if they were gathered under unlawful pretenses (such as the victim trying to extort the defendant for an unrelated matter) or were altered to "prove" the rape happened.

Eyewitnesses also are carefully scrutinized for objectivity in a rape case, especially if they have any connection to the victim, and their credibility can be easily chipped away at even if the story matches up in most particulars.

tl;dr - Wu is a dumbass if he thinks Twitter lynch mobs are how rapists pay. Unequivocal evidence that's hard to argue in a court of law is how you win against a rapist.

Multi-core processors last a lot longer because applications like graphics programs are usually designed to multithread if and where possible for increased efficiency since they tend to be CPU whores, this is not fucking news to anyone who has actually fucked around with this shit since the Pentium 4 onwards.

This also reduces overall stress since the load is split across processors instead of forced onto one core, and so long as you have decent heatsinks and/or additional cooling, you could re do NASA level calculation jobs over a period of decades and have the PC not die on you so long as nothing else goes squirrely in the box since the processors do not incur any appreciable damage at all unless you consistently overload them and the heat starts doing damage to the motherboard/processor chips.
