It's fucking Twitter. Why the fuck should it have anything to do with justice?
Well Wu is literally obsessed with Twitter, and It's usually the thing she immediately turns to when she has a problem. It wouldn't suprise me with her understanding of actual women if she sees rape as something you can just whine about on Twitter and have people hunt the perp down for you.

Odd to me that Wu is lecturing about the virtues of courtesy:

"It's her choice to make"

and

"telling someone how they are supposed to act is unhelpful"

but just a little bit earlier

"I'd personally appreciate it if you could talk about this subject without needlessly insulting people"

*baffled stammering*

Wu adopts that wishy-washy libertarian dogma of "don't tell people what to do" solely to give validity to people's actions that she personally supports, but then in literally every situation tells people what they should do and criticizes the choices that they make.

Oh wait, no, because in that last quote, she's not telling someone what to do, she's just stating her (completely unnecessary and unsolicited) opinion that she would prefer it if he didn't use such language... with the implication being that he needs to change his behavior because she doesn't like it.

Remember when MylarBalloonFan suspected his neighbour was letting air out of bicycle tires and tried to bring him to justice by making a video about it?

Some people seem to think social media are a kind of public court, in spite of staggering lack of potential for enacting justice... except if by "justice" you mean "cyberlynching of scientists who have said or done something that has triggered a few SJWs".

I can't believe that reporting rapes via twitter doesn't work!
It's just very hard to prove rape since usually it just happens between two people in private just as if someone was in your house ate up all your food, and then gave you the finger and walked out the door. Unless you leave signs of a struggle there is just not much anyone can do.
Complaining about not getting justice on twitter is fucking retarded because the only place you're going to get justice is from the police and it gets harder to prove the longer you wait.

Why the fuck are feminists just so dead set on trying to just magically make rape prosecutions happen without reporting or even evidence? It's retardedly counterproductive.

They wish that anytime you were upset with someone you could just take to twitter and assemble a lynch mob to extrajudicially handle people for you.

John has totally read all about graphene, as evidenced by his inability to spell the word.

When John says something will revolutionize the world, he's only doing it so he can feel superior if it's true.
Also... The word "revolutionize" reminds me of a certain project Wu should be releasing...

The "logic" is: it worked for Ahmed Mohammed, UVA's """"""""""""""rape case"""""""""" and Black Lives Matter, so it'll work for me!

Also gotta remember that Twitter addicts and Twitter early adopters have an unrealistic view of how important Twitter actually is. They believe it's some amazing world changing democratised utopian service and that they are genuinely important just because a few of them have follower counts the rival celebrities and politicians.

Not realising actual Twitter users make up a minuscule part of the population, almost every person who registers an account tweets once then leaves. It's just an internet forum really that celebs and brands have been convinced they have to be a part of when the reality is the engagement they get from users is at best non-existant and at worst volatile.

Boasting about a high Twitter follower count is as influential and important as boasting about being popular on Something Awful or Reddit. Pretending tweeting about something will result in change globally is the same as posting on Reddit and expecting the same.

Sorry if this is late or off topic but batteries are way more powerful than they were back in the old Nokia 2210 days. The problem is that we don't want phones that can just send and receive phone calls and text messages. They have to be more powerful than the computers that put a man on the moon.
It doesn't help that battery technology has basically plateaued until we get this graphene technology sorted out, which involves getting carbon nanotubes figured out and that's going to yield some amazing developments.

She'd be in second place. over 30,000 tweets made in the span of a year.
And Twitter was probably more popular back when that article was written, too. I would be greatly amused if she's now actually the #1 most Twitter-obsessed human on the planet.
I haven't been able to find any more recent numbers than this though.

What "harassment" did this person even commit anyway? These morons are so unintelligible with their shrill screaming that I don't even know what they're complaining about despite having looked at a few of the things they've put up complaining about this person apparently writing things they don't agree with.

Apparently it's because someone male pretended to be female without being an insane tranny. And then got harassed by other males pretending to be females while actually being insane trannies. Or something.
