Really? Because I thought it sucked in both accounts. It didn't start as bad but as it went on I started to laugh of the evil plot and the stupid characters. They game tried, I will giive it that, and I don't mind amateur Laura but didn't feel like a particularly strong female character origin story and more like "potential mass murderer and her shitty friends against cults"

Also, didn;t the cold part was in the trailers (or was a very similar event in the Reboot)?

Also, for anyone who has actually seen the game in motion, you can tell that a substantial amount of time went into making Lara's ass look gorgeous. So I'm not buying that "hey Lara is not sexualized it's totally empowering" crap either. Not like having a sexy Lara is a bad thing, but its just more disingenuous nonsense coming from Wu. There is no rhyme or reason to what she declares as feminist subject matter beyond what she personally wants to deem feminist subject matter.

Stealth required a little of skill, being a gigantic scrub i doubt john can stealth for 5 second without blowing it out, he loves the attention, even in video games

Violence is okay when the game itself tries to appeal to them. NeoGaf was acting surprised because TV commercial of the new CoD were aimed to male teenagers when it has a "female protagonist", Outlast is very popular in tumblr even if there is gore and rape references (naked men and a gay antagonist probably helps) and some SJW journos were offended that Tomb Rider Reboot didn't as many GOTY awards.
