She promptly freaked the fuck out and assumed it was a real threat from an actual SEAL who had over 300 confirmed kills and had been involved in numerous raids on Al-Quaeda. So did her husband. And their followers. I think they may have tried to call the police too but don't quote me on that.

This is amazing since wheaton has been on the internet back when you'd think nothing of posting your home phone number in public and telling your pals to ask for brad. Also people personally hated him on USENET (not really his fault imho) because of his retarded star trek character and so he has a lot of experience with trolls. Seriously the guy should be an internet culture expert but somehow he's still fucking retarded.
Maybe his wife was a hysteric who runs his shit so he knew trying to say the navy seal with 300 kills is a joke would go nowhere and he had to pretend to give a shit or sleep on the couch.

So, I had some time, and I've managed to find a gaping hole in one of Wu's more unimportant stories: The "long-standing birth defect to the urinary tract."

Spoiler: Sperging

Now, we all know this surgery was SRS. We're not stupid. But no shit is too minor, I was bored, and every hole you can rip in a narrative is another step to the truth.

So, Wu claims that it was a birth defect, which we are going to call a congenital defect. The problem is, this would have been corrected long before adulthood, when it started to show symptoms. Congenital urinary tract defects are relatively common, but they tend to either prove asymptomatic, or they cause more UTIs and are treated with antibiotics. Severe defects will be treated surgically, because anyone who knows anything medical would know that UTIs lead to kidney damage if you have them so frequently.

Knowing this, it's unlikely that Wu would have a congenital urinary tract defect lasting so long before surgical treatment. Extremely frequent UTIs usually result from urinary tract defects, and any doctor worth their salt would know that a female with frequent UTIs is either extremely sexually active, or has a defect. If the defect was present from birth, the UTIs would probably be mistaken for sexual abuse if not identified. And if identified, most are surgically corrected in a female approaching puberty.

(But we all know Dr. Flynt would have known from the start it was a urinary tract defect and had it corrected. If it existed. Which it didn't.)

So the end game is either horrible neglect leading to kidney damage, or a lie.

tl:dr - Urinary tract correction is BS, unless the defect was the tract being too long and held in a penis.

His career at this point seems to basically be entrenched in "Look, I'm a geek". He IS a legit geek but I've never seen him display any kind of unique perspective into fandom culture. His selling point for the last 5-6 (maybe more) years have been he's a pseudo celebrity from a popular sci-fi show who likes shit like Doctor Who and video games. You can roll him out whenever you need the geek culture commentator or host for something. Prior to that I remember him being seen as pretty popular because you could walk up into a convention, talk to him about some nerdy shit, and he'd know what you were saying while being pretty chill. The problem was that once the internet helped boost his career back up he didn't really shine. At all.

I could be totally wrong but that's what I've noticed. That and he looks like he's about to cry in the photo you posted.
