Going to try some cheap Pastis at some point in the next week because I saw it in some faggy French movie and the liquor store was out of aquavit. Will report back with a review of this niche anise shit no one in the US drinks.
I drink it during the summer, it's really refreshing. You can use other anise-flavored liquors as a substitute if you can't find pastis itself.

My friends, I have stumbled upon a magnificent drink combo, all credit to me, I discovered it on my own god damn it. I really mean magnificent to the highest degree. It's a spin on the White Russian. It is Salted Caramel Kalua, egg nog, and your choice of vodka (my personal preference is Belvy). In honor of the greatest figure in farms history, I call it the Wyoming Wizard. TMDWTFU toobz,

Ricard Pastis is one of my favorite drinks, haven't had it since around 2013. Thank you kindly for digging that memory out of my scathed brain folds, good sir. TWU

Had some Suntory -196. Apparently their patented "Freeze-Crush-Infusion-Technology" is meant to infuse citrus notes, but all they ended with is the flavour of bottom shelf vodka. I'm actually astonished how bad it is.
Oh man, I hope I like it more than you did because I just got two cans in the local Lidl. :(
eh it gets you drunk and doesn't taste awful that's all I care about
I have to say. I finally opened my lemon can (melon grapefruit to follow) and find it very agreeable. I dont find it to have an alcohol taste at all, certainly not that of cheap vodka. Very lemony and slightly bitter, which I would expect if they do use whole lemons without peeling them. Overall I like it. :)

Última edición:
Sam Adams Winter White Ale
It's decent. A little bit of the cinnamon and nutmeg push through with the orange peel. I'd give it a 6/10

So i had a buddy staying with me over the weekend and we had the genius idea to drink fernet menta with sprite while watching football.

That stuff is horrible and addicting.

I put some vodka and Kahlua in some fresh coffee and it came out pretty good. While I taste-tested before adding the Kahlua, I made a point not to add too much of either. Usually Kahlua is sickly sweet, even in other drinks, so maybe the coffee and vodka evened it out somehow.

That's pretty close to an espresso martini, so I'd imagine it was pretty alright.

Aalborg Jubilaeums;

I wanted Linie but they didn't have any this time around so I got this instead. A fair substitute compared to the more standard Aalborg (taffel) which I don't hate but would call a bit too syrupy for my tastes.
