The big problem is that boogie is always acting (and doing a really bad job at that) he’s never, and I mean never, real. He’s always fake. He’s extremely insecure and never wants to reveal his real self. People pick up on that, and they will feel like they’ve been lied to. If not in a day, then a year (like me and many others). And I’m pretty sure the real boogie is not that far off from how he comes across in many videos. It’s just the fact that he consistently lies which is extremely off putting. I don't know where their producer Chiz found this photo of Boogie, but it's maybe the most perfect example of his stroke face I've seen. The differences on both sides of his face are uncanny, it's like he wanted to do a soy pose for the camera but his stroke side disagreed.

Boogie unironically thinks that pilots are underpaid. Out of ALL the jobs to pick from, he went with teacher (arguably underpaid depending on area) and pilots (not at all underpaid). I'm sure it's to do with the news or something in America right now, but still, come on.

Then, the youtuber walks in as Boogie is telling the story and calls him out on it! Boogie immediately becomes a pathetic victim. It's just so fucking sad.

This is my favourite bit out of the whole thing. The way you see him looking over his shoulder repeatedly as he tries telling the story, like a child worried about getting caught. If you were "confused" and thought it was your story, why would you nervously be looking out for the other guy to return and then the second he walks in you suddenly go "Oh-oh wait, this was YOUR story, wasn't it?"

As far as your thoughts on Boogie's fame and timing, he'd have never taken off if he was looking to build his brand from scratch today. Boogie's fame is entirely a matter of being in the right place, at the right time, with the right endorsements, abusing early YouTube algorithm, at a time when people were honestly fascinated with fat people for lack of a better way to put it. There was certainly no talent or hard work involved.

The only ways Boogie would have even had the tiniest chance of becoming famous in today's culture on Youtube is either he is a fat disgusting lolcow like Amberlynn Reid or Foodie Beauty, or he would have to be one of those lefty fat activists. Problem is, he won't degrade himself as much as FB or ALR will because his ego is so huge and the only other really successful male mukbanger is Nikocado who is high energy and people are interested because he went from 150lbs to 450lbs through mukbanging, Boogie would have started at 600lbs and would just die.

As an activist his opinions are either too boring or too retarded. There is no middle ground. Also as a white male he would get eaten alive for making every issue about him as well, so he wouldn't stand a chance.

Back in 2006 it was a gimmick that there was a fat retard bouncing around the place being a stereotypical "gamer". This is back when gamers were the joke of the world. It's also when you didn't have to be good at faking things to get an audience, that's where McJuggernuggets, Kidbehindacamera and Boogie came from. Now you have to put actual effort into your shit and gamers aren't an easy laughing stock so he wouldn't have a chance.

It's one of my favourite podcast episodes. It's so perfect and I'd recommend everyone to watch it. It's a mixture of Boogie lying constantly and being high and mighty about a lot of topics whilst totally ignoring everyone when they talk about things he doesn't care about, to then trying to make up stories on the fly and looking like an idiot when he pretends to be expert on shit he knows nothing about when other members of the podcast actually are experts. It's great.

Hell, you can't beat Kyle outright ignoring Boogie for the first like 40 minutes and refusing to engage in conversation with him lol

Pretend this is real.
No, I know it's not and he's just using this fictional person as a prop to repeat a conversation he had with himself, I'm saying pretend.
Pretend that Boogie was really talking with a small time, now retired youtuber who he considers a friend and Boogie is complaining about the haters (the only believable part of this) and the creator says "Well, at least people still talk about you..." wistfully.

Boogie had a huge audience, lots of eyes on him and his friend just sadly wished for online attention, even suggesting that being hated is better than being forgotten.
Does Boogie give that creator's name and channel a shout out, directing his audience to the channel (even if it's not updated) giving it renewed life, giving an mood boost and maybe even a few ad views for his friend?

Or conversely, does he respect that his friend is clearly still hurt from his own downfall and keep their personal conversation private?

Nope.
He takes the shittiest route a friend could possibly take and ignores his friends feelings in either direction and just talks about himself, and even reminds his audience that this friend was a "really small creator", just rubbing salt in that wound.

We used to have a list of all the friends boogie has, lawyer, fbi, cam girls, stripper etc, in reality he has a core of about 8 mtg friends and even that has dwindled massively, he used to post videos of his gatherings and there would be 15-20 folk there, now it is absolute bare bones.

Used to be this dude that hung out and drank with us, was a sociable enough fellow, he'd bring beer or wine and we'd play video games and shit, normal stuff for mid 20 year old retards. After a couple months, he started really grating on us. Every story we'd tell he'd somehow make it his, and he was always making it seem like he was better than you. If you banged some 7/10 chick, he banged a 9/10.. If you got into a fight with a 6'1 200 pound dude, he got into a fight with a 6'3 250 pound guy. Always just so annoying, and he fucked the entire feeling of the 5-6 of us hanging out. That sort of reminds me of how booger1488 is, he always has to be the center of attention, always has to outdo you, and never seems to be able to add to a good conversation, he just steered it back to himself Finally just told the dude to stop coming around. I sure wish we could get booger to stop coming around.

Boogie reminds me of two other high profile narcissists:

Brendan Schaub - grandiose narcissism. "Oh you did that? I did that too, but way cooler." "Haters are jealous of me and how rich and awesome I am." Always inserting themselves whenever possible.

XXXTentacion - vulnerable narc. "I'm so sorry for all I've done, learn from my mistakes." "My life is so hard and my mental illness makes me want to kill myself." 6 videos in 12 days, so a video every other day.

Video counts are pretty low obviously across the board, especially his random Garfield video and also his MTG videos (especially since his fans directly told him they didn't want MTG content in a poll on his twitter).

It was only a few years ago when Boogie's biggest subscriber losses were on the days he uploaded since it reminded people he existed and they were more likely to unsubscribe. He must realise by now his attempt at flooding out low effort content like this is probably going to do more damage to his sub count than help it. It's a pain we can't keep accurate record of his sub count anymore because of the changes to YT but he's already dropped to 4.12million since the start of the month (5th of August) so I guess we'll just have to keep track of how long it takes before he hits 4.11million.

The comeback hasn't really worked out though. He's had more Tiktok uploads than Youtube vids again. His "I'm in the pool guys!" tweets have decreased too. He hasn't streamed a single time in nearly 2 weeks after claiming he was getting ready to stream 4 times a week, neither streaming on YT or Twitch.

He's still pushing his Whatnot thing hard, and he's finally up to 51 followers. Hilariously now he's offering a $10 credit if you sign up now, so anyone who already signed up as a new user to follow him can't get it lol What a guy, try to pull in the numbers, realise no one cares apart from a few die hard fans, then fuck those fans over by bribing less dedicated fans to join.

Whilst poking around I noticed on the 5th of August that he claimed he had only set up this service to try and win a chance to meet Post Malone.

Now, this could be 100% schzio of me but I had never really recalled him liking Post Malone or talking about him much in the past, especially since Boogie's music taste generally seems to be... well, his own songify stuff or like Bo Burnham or other comedy songs. Malone's mumble rap seems kind of out of place for him.

So I decided to search up anytime he's talked about Post Malone before and he's only talked about him like 3 times. All 3 of them are after he fell out with H3H3 who was a very close friend of Post Malone and Post is part of the reason why the H3 Podcast took off but now Post and Ethan seem to have fallen out. Probably wrong but my immediate thought was Boogie just wants to meet with Post Malone to become buddy buddy with him as a fuck you to Ethan Klein. Why else would he suddenly be wanting to organise to meet him when they've apparently been friends for years on Twitter?

The funniest one is definitely the one from Nov 2021 where Boogie is pretending then being friends with Post Malone on Twitter has gotten him sex on two different occasions. Apart from just being very standard Boogie tier sex pest cringe shit, I love that in Boogie's fantasies, anytime he meets a new girl they are immediately on his Twitter looking him up and checking his celebrity friends lol
