I am shocked and appalled that nobody has posted this yet. The trailer for season 6 came out on Friday - and it's the final season (but will be split into two parts).

Predictions:

Bojack finally overdoses.
Diane dies in a car accident.
Mr. Peanutbutter kills himself out of grief.
Princess Carolyn becomes a crazy cat lady (figuratively) and lives out the rest of her life alone and miserable.
Todd realizes his mindless optimism is a cover for his crushing depression and also kills himself, perhaps along with Mr. Peanutbutter. Possibly holding hands while jumping off a bridge.

Jesus Christ, that is so depressing that it me be the culmination of "Real Hollywood" right there what you just typed up.

Am I crazy, or have I gotten really good at writing letters?

PC won't be alone and (too) miserable, she has an adopted child now. I think she'll cave on some aspect of her life — either cutting back on her career, or getting into a relationship so she has some help. Or maybe just hiring help.

I can't see Todd or Mr. PB doing murder/suicide. It sounds like Todd is going to get back in touch with his family, and Mister is going to confront his deep-seated issues and hopefully, for the love of God, not marry the 23-year-old party girl.

Diane dying would make too many fuckboys happy, so I hope she lives, moves out of Hollywoo, and writes a real book or something.

BoJack dying sounds predictable and maudlin, I'd like to think they'll do better than that.

i dont think we're getting a happy end, but i dont think bojack will die either
the only way i can see him dying is by mistake, hes had ample opportunities to kill himself and he always realizes he doesnt want to, but that would be a lame end.
bojack having a realization that being sober doesnt make him a better person/doesnt fix his past, and he's still unhappy, then a smash to black as the ending song plays? now thats more apropo to bojack.

But even still, that's TOO heartless of an ending. The show may be cynical and brutally honest but it has heart underneath it all. I don't know if it will be a happy ending. But I don't think it will be too mercilessly cold to Bojack either. Otherwise, what was the point of it all? When you reach the very bottom, the only logical step forward is moving up.

I could be wrong. But I have a feeling that the ending might be more in Bojack's favor than people think. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But I guess I just want to see the sad horsey have a day in the sun.

i honestly want him to be happy too
but im cynical and i feel like that could be a final fuck you to netflix for cancelling them too

TBH, every main character dying (not by suicide though, that would be meh.) Would actually be a pretty funny end. It will never happen, but I'd support it... I've always love/hated Bojack and most of the characters anyway.

so, im rewatching the whole series to get hyped for 10/25, did this spanish dude ever show up again?

I think this being the final season of the show is promising, I don't know if they can recapture what made it work before but I've gone from being hopeless to being optimistic since this is the last season, that means they know its time to bow out before it gets even worse.

I honestly think this show went on for a season too long.
Its still fine and its the only good show they have. they could have made another season. 7 seasons is normaly the right amount to leave people without wanting more.

its a pretty clever show and i doubt they will be able to make another clever show ever again at netflix.

Hoo boy. I saw it coming for the last season but the next part of the season is gonna be a doozy.

Seems like this Part is mostly a wrap-up session for the side-characters and what seems to be the same for Bojack...

But it looks like the public are finally going to find out about all the shit he pulled and got away with next time.

This is gonna be one hell of a final season

Okay, i have to correct myself. I missed the last 2 episodes for some reason, after watching them, FUCK EM!

the last to episodes are bad, the last one is realy realy bad. the writting is terrible. I know understand why Animation slaves didnt wanted to work on this project anymore.

It was bad when they just ended Todd with a stupid joke, but this, this is just to much stupid and agenda.

Uhh the plot point most fitting to our agenda is the big finaly. they broke the whole last season with this shit. also the doggy cuck isnt funny anymore, he did stupid stuff, but he isnt evil, threating him like this is just mean. also the film pitch was not on the nose at all.

Are you okay right now? It's a silly cartoon about a sad horse, bro.

I thought the last two episodes were fine. Solid set up for the next half of the season.

im a very passionate person, and i maybe drank a bottle of wine per episode.

I realy liked that show, pure human(or horse) scum feeling sad for a good reason. now there is politics, and its more than just a job to make somebody feel like shit.
the buffalo black person was fine and the mexican stealing a kidney wasnt to bad.

I dont know man, cant we have something without politics?

The show has always had a political edge. It takes place in one of the most shallowly political places in the world.

Now if by political you mean Bojack reaping the consequences of his actions, this was a long time coming and literally the whole series has been building up to this. The show's already covered #metoo as well as cancel culture. This is an incident that is purely centered on character progression based on every awful shitty thing Bojack has done over the course of the show, the majority of which coincidentally happening to the women in his life.

The jabs at how women are treated in Hollywood have always been present in the show. It's just a thing that has always happened. You just kind of shrug and move on. They had a whole episode last season about Hollywood feminism and it didn't drag the overall season down. Yeah, it's leftie shit. But we're here to watch Bojack get better, not listen to girl power crap. Thankfully, it's in the background and not the foreground.

I guess it's all about tastes and perspective. I've seen the twist coming for a while now so I guess the plot is progressing the way I've wanted it to. The show still ain't over yet. There's another 8 episodes left in January that will determine how everything ends as well as the overall message.
