I doubt that accounts for it entirely, especially within the US. I think the Target and Bud Lite affairs made a lot of corporations realize it wasn't worth it and that they weren't actually gaining much by pouring money into gay shit. There's also been a gradual shift within the American left away from the troon/degenerate focus and towards Palestine and third-worldism; even when troons are still mentioned, you can tell their hearts aren't really in it.

Bringing it back on topic somewhat, I did have a quick look for Pride stuff on Bluesky and (apart from a lot of badly drawn porn) one primary overarching theme seems to be "we all have disabilities":

No, USAID was about mostly shitlib nonprofits getting money.

The corporate wokespeak wave was driven by investment funds pushing ESG on corporations as a strings attached incentive to get financing. And that in turn was driven by states like California setting things up so that their huge pool of pension funds get invested into ESG heavy companies, fudiciary duty be damned.

But since a number of other states have come out forbidding having their funds invested in ESG (Florida for example) and since the returns on ESG heavy investment portfolios have been bad in general - well things have been scaled back quite a bit.

So bottom line, if you're a taxpayer, especially in a blue state, a lot of your money ultimately went to fund gay shit and DEI at corporations. Straight up.
