You have to admit that Scar-Jo got a bit too greedy. She is after all, at the end of the day, a white woman...
That's only like one higher than a white man on the progressive stack, and Disnarvel has already yeeted several of their leading white men.

I do admittedly feel bad for her that she wasn't able to get her second mega yacht... (the horror) But I've said it before, and I'll say it again... When you get in bed with the mouse, don't complain when you end up smelling like a rat.

BUT...the problem is that Disney violated their own contract, which is not only illegal, but actually incredibly stupid especially for a mega corporation. Not to mention they made a deal with Dwayne Johnson for his film yet made no such promise to her. (Or Emma Stone for that matter)

The "president" (lmfao) of the country that both Disney and I currently reside in, recently told the head of a bureaucracy (the CDC) whom he appointed himself, that she should ignore the orders of the highest court in this land (because of covid) and continue to invalidate hundreds of thousands, if not millions (even though most of them wouldn't have acted on it), of contracts between landlords and tenants- because of covid.

Yeah that *finally* got rightfully overturned, but you know what? Scar-Jo is still just being a greedy bitch. Most people are stupid and scared, and wouldn't have gone to a theatre to see her (by most accounts mediocre) movie anyway, because they think that they're going to catch the chink coof if they do.

I will admit, she should probably be getting at least *some* of the profits from the mouse putting it on Disney+ if she isn't already (I don't care enough to check, I bet she probably is getting at least something though. I bet it just isn't enough for her...), but my point is, a shit ton of people who are not even remotely as wealthy as Mrs. Johansson have already been (and in some cases, are *Still* being) told to shut up and suck it up, "It" being their loss of income. "because of covid." And if she's as out of touch as most Hollywood retards are, I bet Mrs. Johansson was probably all in favor of that, until it affected her.

Covid is bullshit, but the way that our supposed leaders are dealing with is has been far more disastrous to a normal person than the effects of the slightly worse flu symptoms ever could have been. I will however 100% disingenuously apologize if an already multi-fucking-millionaire hypocritical cunt made a few less extra millions because of the retarded way that the people in charge of this dumb as fuck country are treating covid.

Sorry, I hope we're still cool @Scarlett Johansson, but I have seen far too many small businesses here where I live crumble because of the retarded covid restrictions placed upon them.... And unlike Scarlett Johansson, they won't still be here after this bullshit ends (if it ever even does...)

I still can't be bothered to feel bad for a woman who was already far richer than most of us will ever be, who maybe even lost more money than most of us will ever see, (because of covid) and yet still won't even remotely be bothered by that loss in the long run...

Its not about her tho lmao. Disney fucked up big time. Also it was a negotiation. You always aim high with those.

What the film has actually made is irrelevant to the calculation - the suit's about an alternate universe where they didn't breach contract and what Scarlett would have made if not for the contract breach. So even if that figure is disproportionate to what the film has made in the real world, that doesn't matter because it's about compensating her for the breach.

If anything, the film under-earning is helpful because Scarlett can point to it as a result of the decision to breach her contract and hold it up against how much money it should have made to demonstrate it's been a loss that in turn caused her a loss.
