According to BLM Philly, white people are banned from future gatherings and are not allowed to be official members of the organization because it is considered a “black only space.”

I think it's because Brits don't have the same ongoing angst over slavery - a lot of the problems in black communities in the USA are open secrets, but guilty white people get super upset the minute you suggest that at this point their problems are self-inflicted vs. oppression from mighty whitey.

I'd rather think that is because slavery was a colony issue for the French and British. They were the two biggest slave traders during the Atlantic slave trade.

If they had brought millions to their own home shores it probably would have generated a different outlook.
