Best jobs for autistic people?

First, what are your strengths and weaknesses? This goes for everyone. I know autists have common weaknesses with socializing and routines. Since I'm going off of nothing, archival jobs can be decent for autists who don't want to interact much. I worked one, and despite not being autistic, it was enjoyable but undeniably it felt long since I would always finish my work and have nothing to do. And night shifts aren't the best for all.

I knew someone that was too autistic to hold a normal job, so he worked for the US Forest Service counting trees. I think he liked it quite a lot, but ended up getting a new job in a field he had a degree in that also fit him well.

You make jokes, but its probably prudent for the Department of Forestry to have a rough estimate of how many of what kinds of trees are in a given area. It's probably a chill gig if you like walking around in the woods. But haha Reddit updoots for you good sir for being able to quote a Youtube video I also watched!

Someone suggested that to me as a career path once, lol. I guess basically offering suggestions to organizations, employers, schools, etc. on how to accommodate and integrate autistic people effectively, and using your own personal experience as a certified autist to identify and articulate these things.

This is another one of those things where you have to be a very specific kind of autist to be good at.
