Necky is more interesting than Amber at this point just because of how silly she is.
I did a bunch of googling and didn't find anything about people in Kentucky losing their Medicaid immediately upon arrest, especially if they didn't even spend any time incarcerated. In fact what I see is that even felons are eligible as soon as they leave jail.

In many states, you are enrolled in Medicaid when you are incarcerated, and it pays for hospital stays, and medically assisted treatment like naltrexone.

Taking out of context, it is a sad story, but when you realise that she lived rent free for years and even if she took care of Amber, she had plenty of time to play video games, painting boxes, and basically doing absolutely nothing. She was a plain grifter who did not want to improve her situation. We all know that Amber is no angel, but when all you care about is getting the highest score on Guitar Hero, I have no sympathy for Becky.
She could make more money working in a restaurant. She basically took to the easiest job she could find. She could have gone to her woodworking job.
Her infatuation with the morbid is unsettling, such as the dead nephew.
Cheap food is usually shitty, high calorie and simple to make. That's why a lot of poors are fat. It's expensive right now to eat things like lean protein, veggies and fresh fruit and it can be time consuming to prep, cook and store it, assuming she even knows how. Tossing garbage in the microwave or opening a bag of cheap chips takes no effort. I think her meds could also be why she's not losing much weight.
I get that but food costs have risen so much in 2023. Even though frozen chips/fries and nuggets are high calorie you still have to eat quite a lot of them to maintain her weight. In fact I would say she's gained.
Im pretty sure shes lying, or at the least being very generous about her working time. She will work albeit grudgingly, she has a shit work ethic and attitude and would rather be home reliving the 90s than anything worthwhile. I couldnt believe she would actually work for that long and for that many days, shes exaggerating because of she feels she shouldn't have to do it. Especially after having to deal and watch Amber do jack shit, she feels entitled to the same life.
Like what I mentioned above, im sure she just forgot or fucked up and smashed into a car. Most likely wasnt thinking about what was going on and daydreaming and sure as shit hit a car. Rather than act like an adult and own up to a mistake and exchanging info she just kind of sulked and went "i dunno" until police got involved.
Becky is lazy and a grifter through and through. If anyone at any point told her, dont worry about X she would take it as solid reassurance the issue that she was dreading to handle would be taken care of. The cop most likely would of told her to not worry about it and it would maybe result in a fine. Becky took that as she didnt have to do shit because the cop said it was ok. She probably assumed if further action was required they would go to her directly. Shit doesnt work that way but in Beckys mind once you leave everything is concluded.
Shes the equivalent of a human snail. Slow as shit, unwanted and constantly needs to find a new home because she cant be in the pervious one.
